Jamie Foxx Starring in Kane & Lynch Movie

'Collateral' and 'The Soloist' star Jamie Foxx will play the violent James Lynch alongside Bruce Willis in the video game adaptation of IO Interactive's 2007 shooter Kane & Lynch, according to the movie's screenwriter Kyle Ward on Twitter.

Oh well. I was kinda looking forward to that two old men thing that the game had. One of the things that got me interested in 1. Still haven't played it but the game was unique cause you weren't playing the average young person in a game.

But at least it has Bruce Willis.

I'm really not bothered by Jamie Foxx - what bothers me is WHY is this movie being made anyway!?

The original game was nothing to remember, didn't sell well, had mixed reviews and the game doesn't even have a real fan base...

So why is this movie being made!!!?

the 1st game was wack but the characters and story are what people loved about the game.

if your a fan of Boondocks saints , smoking aces and them kind of movies you'd love Kany & lynch.

I have to admit that the story was intriguing, but the game play just didn't deliver.

because this game is begging for it, if you've ever seen the movie heat (when michael mann was still making good movies) but you were probably too young and think that miami vice is film masterpiece, so the likelyhood of reasoning with you is very slim. the characters in the game where legitimate bleak real world types, put in an overwhelming situation giving the director plenty of opportunity for classic shootouts to rival even the best of hollywood, not to mention the score was excellent, and while the gameplay had minor issues, overall the game was a visceral, and enjoying experience for those who enjoy a more mature experience when playing a videogame. if you don't like it, go back and play something geared more towards your age group.

There goes any hope I had for this movie. I don't get why movies sometimes totally change a character's look. It doesn't matter if you think he's a good actor or not, he doesn't look the part.

this is !@#$ing rediculous. not only is jamie foxx a !@#$ joke in any "hard" role he's ever tried to pull off. BUT WHAT THE !@#$ IS HOLLYWOOD RUINING ANOTHER PERFECTLY GOOD VIDEOGAME THAT COULD EASILY BE ADAPTED INTO AN EXCELLENT FILM WITH ACTORS THAT DON'T HAVE ANY SIMILARITIES TO THE CHARACTERS. i mean !@CK casting a black man for a role that was clearly meant for a white person..........I can't even believe that something this inane and @#cking rediculous is happening to one of my favorite games/characters. I love bruce willis, but he's not kane. and jamie foxx is in no !@#King way in any sense lynch. and he never will be. DYLAN MCDERMIT SHOULD BE LYNCH, or a white biker type, someone known for playing an intimidating white that can pull off a goatee and weapon. and as far as kane, JASON ISAACs could easily pull it off, and they'd look perfect for the roles....i have nothing else to say, if any of you honestly think jamie foxx should be in this movie, you clearly aren't fans of the game and have no !@#$ing merit in any sense of the word.
