I would've figured it'd take longer than that. But these hackers really are devoted to their cause.
edit: It'd be ok if they only used homebrew on it but they all try to justify pirating by saying they want to play backups. Cause a hacked PSP is way more useful than an unhacked one. But it sucks that this stuff has drained millions from the industry.
