CrAppleton5480d ago

Yeah no doubt! Jack Black is a pimp! Can't wait to get my hands on this game!

bgrundman5480d ago

Dude, Ozzie is going to be in the game which makes it an instant sale.

ChampIDC5480d ago

Yeah, so far, it's looking like a buy for me. I hope it plays as good as it looks.

Mass Effect 2, NFS Shift, Fight Night Round 4, Brutal Legends, Star Wars The Old Republic, OMG!

Spolodaface5480d ago

Mass Effect not until next year? Aw, I was hoping that Facebook thing was right.

Hobb5480d ago

Mass Effect 2 is all I want from these people. LOOKS FREAKING AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DaRockSays5480d ago

Good tings be worth waitin fo

CrAppleton5480d ago

Yeah.. I seriously can't wait for ME2! I loved the first one.. this one looks like it's gonna be bad ass too!

ChampIDC5480d ago

My only complaint with ME1 was the empty worlds all over the place. It just seemed like pointless filling to me. Good thing you can ignore them. The rest of the game was straight up pimpin. Can't wait for the second.

Tony P5480d ago

Same here. There have got to be better things to do than drive a vehicle over miles of bleak terrain to cookie cutter locales and QTEs. That's my only complaint besides those darn elevators but it's a major one that I think seriously hurt the exploration. Wasn't very meaningful at all.

What I'd like are more cities, civilizations, ruins, etc. Not just another uninhabitable planet with a Geth ambush.

If I'm pretty harsh in my criticisms it's because I enjoyed the game so much and know it could also be so much better. ME2, day one.

Overall, not that impressed with what EA showed. Sure, I'm excited for Mass Effect 2 and Star Wars Old Republic, but what they let us see wasn't that interesting to me.

DaRockSays5480d ago

Wha you say? Not Impressed? They have bunch of grat games comin

CrAppleton5480d ago

IDK.. I think the main problem with EA is the fact that there weren't very many NEW announcements.. we already knew these games were coming

Neco5125480d ago

Totally! We all knew this was coming. I want something NEW

Spolodaface5480d ago

EA MMA was the only announcement if I remember correctly, and that's all it was; an annoucement. No new info, nothing else but a logo.

7 Deserving Games That Never Got Backward Compatibility

Backward compatibility works for many games on newer consoles, but titles such as The Simpsons: Hit and Run have been left out.

The 7 Best Western RPGs: Immersive Adventures

RPGs are often huge, sprawling endeavours. With limited playtime, we have to choose wisely, so here's the best western RPGs available today.

SimpleSlave58d ago

"I started playing games yesterday" the List... Meh!

How about a few RPGs that deserve some love instead?
1 - Alpha Protocol - Now on GOG
2 - else Heart.Break()
3 - Shadowrun Trilogy
4 - Wasteland 2
5 - UnderRail
6 - Tyranny
7 - Torment: Tides of Numenera

And for a bonus game that flew under the radar:
8 - Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden

DustMan58d ago

Loved Alpha Protocol in all it's glorious jank. Great game.

SimpleSlave58d ago (Edited 58d ago )

Not only glorious jank, but the idea that the story can completely change depending on what you do, or say, or side with, makes it one of the most forward thinking games ever. The amount of story permutation is the equivalent of a Hitman level but in Story Form. And it wasn't just that the story changed, no, it was that you met completely new characters, or missed them, depending on your choices. Made Mass Effect feel static in comparison.

Alpha Protocol was absolutely glorious, indeed. And it was, and still is, more Next Gen than most anything out there these days. In this regard at least.

Pity.

EA Sends Classic Titles To Steam

This is a nice collection of classic. EA has opened its vaults and released a series of classic PC games to Steam for the first time ever.

Garethvk87d ago

I wish we had a new Command and Conquer.

Vits87d ago

f you haven't already, consider getting 8-Bit Armies or the new 9-Bit Armies. They're made by some of the same folks from the older C&C, with very similar mechanics; it's just the aesthetics that are completely different.

TheColbertinator87d ago

C&C Red Alert 3 and The Saboteur were two different yet completely unforgettable games to me from a better era of EA.

UltimateOwnage87d ago

Super stoked, excellent pricing too. SteamDeck library+++
