No More Heroes 2 to have Motion Plus?

N+Dpad writes:
"More control over your character's movements is never a bad thing, so when we saw the debut trailer of No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle, we were excited to see the MotionPlus logo on the screen."

I really want all games to be MotionPlus compatible.lol why not? you know.

The whole motionplus thing has me kind of on the fence. On the one hand it seems pretty cool and everything, but on the other hand its lame that we have to pay for it. I mean if it becomes a staple for a proper controller setup youre looking at $40 (remote), $20 (nunchuck), and $20 (motionplus add-on). Add it together + tax and rechargeable batteries and you're nearing $100. I don't see any real drawback to having it motionplus compatible but games that make it mandatory, like Red Steel 2, I'm not so sure of yet...

True but i feel the remote is the biggest selling point of the Wii. For me to truly get what i felt the Wii was always meant to be, will come at a price. I'm willing to pay that price if the gameplay is enhanced.

MotionPlus will be a relaunch for the Wii.

Well I suppose the idea isn't to be buying a control set and the Motionplus. IT's more just buying the motionplus for 20 dollars and attaching it to the controllers you already have.

It would have been better to have it implemented in the first place but it would have driven costs up.

i'm pretty sure the devs said the game used motion plus and it was pretty hard to play i u didnt have motion plus.

techie5474d ago

We know it does...they said you wouldn't be able to play the game WITHOUT motion plus.

Motion plus looks to be coming on strong this year.

condorstrike5474d ago

sorry, but if this game is anything like part 1, then it doesn't need it and probably wouldn't work that good because of the games' camera and it being 3rd person god view, Redsteel I do understand and sports games also, but not for NMH2.

These ports should’ve also come to PS4 like No More Heroes: Travis Strikes Back did

Without question. Suda himself even said he had PS4 remasters prepared years ago. I wonder what the holdup is.

June 9th lets goooooooo! Almost bought these on Switch cause ive never played them before and they look right up my alley. Glad i waited it out.

Venoxn4g1086d ago

Well, to each his own I guess, but to play No More Heroes without the motion controls (like on Wii or Nintendo Switch) it is not as fun in my opinion. This is one of the games where motion controls really add the fun factor.

Amplitude1086d ago

Oh actually?

I wonder if you can use the Wii controller on PC... If not, I suppose I'll take your word for it and grab it for Switch haha
