Ziriux5458d ago

Oh this are very nice I must admit, cute little system.

Silellak5458d ago

I love the overall appearance, but I'm not sure I like the placement of the D-Pad and analog stick. Should they really be so close together?

Milky5458d ago

that guys hand is HUGE!

I cant wait to get one of these.

Tsar4ever015458d ago

Is it me,Or that HAND around the device is VERY BADLY Rendered. Look it was imaged around the psp go!

RememberThe3575458d ago (Edited 5458d ago )

Not as nice as that artists rendition, but still nice. I already have two PSPs but I'd consider getting this. Only because I love the PSP.

Now bundle this with Monster Hunter or the new FF game, and this system will fly off the shelf.

Mindboggle5458d ago

This thing is really getting slated...Look at the comments on engadget

http://www.engadget.com/200...

I kinda feel bad for Sony as this was blatenly their big announcement at E3, and now they are going into E3 with a product that everyone has seen and not alot of people like.

I think it looks really cool...I dont know why all the hate is coming....

I also have a gut feeling It wont be long before MS come along with their own gaming Handheld and satisfy all these complaints, by including a second analogue stick, achievments and full Live support.

Pika-pie5458d ago (Edited 5458d ago )

No thats what a handheld should look like.

It is real as it was shown in the latest episode of Qore where they discussed E3 in the past tense.
Shipping fall and LittleBigPlanet portable all sounds good.

Yep someone is going to get fired

Face Palm5458d ago

I hope the screen is GLASS like the iPhone and iPod touch so it doesn't scratch. I love how I don't have to worry about my iPod touch scratching when I put it into my pocket and since the PSP Go looks so pocket-friendly, it seems like a logical addition. Looks like a neat redesign but I'm disappointed that it still only has one analog stick though >:(

Fall of this year... damn suddenly that seems really far :/

PS3 FanBaby5458d ago

That POS is ugly than the DSi! The graphics appear to be that of the Sega GameGear ROFL! Sony should stop making systems and turn into a developer like Sega since they clearly don't know how to make attractive devices.

Although I find this one very weird.

;)

doctorstrange5458d ago

I see what you mean, looks very odd

IMHO, the artist concepts we saw a couple of months ago were better. I don't feel bad about buying a PSP-3000 at all.

I was hoping it would at least have a nice big screen, but it looks like the same size as the other PSPs.

XxSolid SnakexX5458d ago

The screen is actually smaller the original psp is 4.3 and psp go is 3.8

BULLETBOI5458d ago

Dam, i might preorder it if this is for real...the screen looks sweet, big and nice...now just the price...

blind-reaper5458d ago

I hope is somewhere between $150 and $200, I won't pay more than $200

happyface5458d ago

I really dont see this turning the psp around, I expected more than some lame sidekick design

where is the dual stick?

shysun5458d ago

It's not the PSP2, it's a redesign of the PSP. Just like the DS lite.

I would kill to have a Way of the Samurai game with a huge budget and modern tech... The first game was one of my greatest joys on PS2 back in the day. And I really hope From Software will do something with Tenchu... I hate that they're just sitting on the IP like it doesn't even exist.

Relientk7727d ago

Don't play with my feelings like that.

Also, new Tenchu please!

TheColbertinator27d ago

Tenchu would be superb in this day and age. Ninja and samurai games are hot right now and more is better.

Original Final Fantasy 7 - Is it Worth Playing in 2024?

Final Fantasy 7 has come back under the spotlight thanks to the release of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, but is it worth replaying the original?

ravens5230d ago

Got to Zacks part in 7 Rebirth. Said f it. Finishing my game in 7 og. Just got to part 2 yesterday. I also got Crisis Core... So it'll be a while before I'm back to Rebirth. I just keep thinking about it too smh, want to get back to playing it. Not till I know Zacks story though. I beat 7 og sooooooo long ago, it's crazy going through it again and remembering things.

MrNinosan30d ago (Edited 30d ago )

Got to Zacks part in Rebirth?
You mean you started the game and turned it off?
The game starts with Zack...

ravens5230d ago

... Really 🤓 lol. His second part, I've played for 80hrs lmao. <---- PS5 Run time, probably not all game time. You guys know how it goes.

VIK212130d ago (Edited 30d ago )

Did you not ever play the OG FF7? After you recruit Vincent, later in the game, disc 3, return to that basement and look at the pod, there's a whole Zack story that'll trigger as a memory.... it's well hidden in the game and a lot of things regarding Zack are cleared up. FF7 Crisis Core is basically an extend feature of that hidden flashback... It took me years to discover it back then lol

MrNinosan30d ago

@ravens52
80 hours in Rebirth by doing everything, and you should've reached Zacks story about 5 times 🤣

ravens5229d ago

Ye I kno that's y I said not all gameplay time. But also I am very anal when it comes to exploring.

ravens5229d ago

Not to mention fighting Titan at his full strength. Hours spent trying still haven't succeeded. Found all 3 ruins but I'ma masochist when it comes to games.

Barlos30d ago

Very much so. Graphically it's dated but the story and the gameplay haven't aged a day. It's still one of my all time favourite RPGs and for me is better than Remake in some ways.

Barlos30d ago (Edited 30d ago )

It always takes me back to Christmas 1997, I got it as a gift and I was blown away when I played it. I couldn't believe games could look that good. The combination of pre rendered backgrounds and FMV really made it stand out. It definitely still has a certain charm that modern games can't replicate.

I can't imagine people will still be talking about Remake and Rebirth in 27 years.

Tapani29d ago

Fully agreed. To me the atmosphere, pacing, gameplay and music are all better than in the remake.

Rebel_Scum30d ago

Yes, play this, skip remake, start rebirth for new players.

I_am_Batman30d ago

Skip Remake? That's terrible advice.

leahcim30d ago

Remake is so amazing, pure FFVII Love, play it on PS5 please! aww the graphics the battles, the music... a dream come true.

Rebel_Scum30d ago (Edited 30d ago )

I disagree Batman

FF XVI Producer Is Interested In Working On A New Final Fantasy Tactics Game

Final Fantasy XVI producer Naoki Yoshida is interested in working on a brand new Final Fantasy Tactics game.

GoodGuy0932d ago

It's insane its been this long since the last release.

CrimsonWing6932d ago

Not from you.

Knowing how you handled FF16 by trying to make it appeal to non-fans and changing the entire gameplay design I can see you changing Tactics to appeal to non-fans.

If they’re going to do this please give it to someone who wants to keep the game and genre in tact.

VersusDMC32d ago

He worked on tactics ogre reborn. Was there changes? He wouldn't make an FF tactics game an action game. It will be AA but faithful. Probably what the Diofield Chronicles team and some of the FFXVI team is probably working on already and he is just keeping a secret.

And FF hasn't had a set gameplay design since X. I disliked the MMO, 12, 13 FF's but didn't mald for years. I played other games. Stop crying as he probably won't make a single player FF again and will be busy with the next FF MMO.

EternalTitan32d ago

I can feel your hatred. Keep it up.

Ataraxias32d ago

Tactics Ogre Reborn was an overall solid product but almost eliminated the concept of builds in the game.
So we'd probably end up with a system where character jobs like Mercenary for Ramza is 80% of the character instead of being freeform.

SegaSaturn66931d ago

Tactics Ogre Reborn changed a lot of gameplay mechanics for the worse. The class system is weird and hard to lock in roles, and they shoehorned a new "random card appearing" mechanic on the maps which makes no sense. Previously you obtained those boosts from killing powerful opponents, not spawning randomly.

There's a way better way to play Tactics Ogre: the fanmade onevision mod of the psp version.

EternalTitan32d ago

16 was just a terrible mess.
Its not even a JRPG let alone a final fantasy game.
Yosi piss(who said he hates JRPGs) should not touch another Final Fantasy game ever again.

VersusDMC31d ago

87 metacritic can't be a terrible mess.
If Kingdom Hearts is a JRPG then FFXVI is a JRPG. And he said he hates the term JRPG as it carries a bad stereotype with western journalists.

So you're just incorrect on several fronts...

Asterphoenix31d ago

I wouldn't mind a new FF Tactics longs they keep the tactical elements of Tactics in it as well as a very in depth story. Which FF Tactics years ago has by far one of the best stories in the series.

Tapani31d ago

Yes, alongside with Vagrant Story. Playing FFT, then Vagrant story and finally FFXII is a bliss. Deepest lore and best stories ever made in video games.
