40 hours, 100+ if you do side content

Famitsu scores 8, 8, 10, 7, and collectively 33/40

Si-Fly20d ago

Expected a higher score tbh.

neutralgamer199220d ago

It means game is really good. Honestly with all these high 9’s and perfect scores it has ruined our expectations and now when a game gets less than that it’s simply passed on

Where as until PS3/360 generation we were buying games with 7.5-8,5 on regular bases and having fun

Goosejuice21d ago

Been looking forward to this game for awhile. Huge fan of the suikoden series.

MrNinosan20d ago

Same,
After Xenogears and Final Fantasy, Suikoden 1 and 2 was my favourite jrpgs on the Playstation 1 era

Goosejuice20d ago

I started out playing suikoden 3 as my first one on ps2. Fell in love with the series.

And coming to GamePass for free but the haters will say the quality of the game was diminished because its a gamepass title lol

....Will they? I don't see that yet.

Your audition for the role of Comment Section Tinderbox #4 aside, no one can really say with any certainty because it is simultaneously launching on other platforms outside of sub services. If we hear about sales on other platforms subsidizing the loss from XGP, maybe we have more to go on. But these aren't budget-intensive games either. Launching into the service is really their way of getting a market not known for liking these games to give the product a chance. It is a similar approach Sega takes with Persona.

I know right!? It’s like how all those movies on Netflix are for free!

Michiel198919d ago

he never said that gp is free. People on here really do see red and forget everything they learned when they see the word gamepass.

How would you say that a game is coming to psplus for no additional costs? that's right: x game is coming to psplus for free!
Which is not saying that the service itself is free, but it does say that the game will be free for psplus owners. English is hard huh?

CrimsonWing6919d ago (Edited 19d ago )

@Michiel1989

How did anything in my comment mention him saying Gamepass is free? You’re the one seeing red for whatever reason and to answer your question, no I wouldn’t say a game is coming to Gamepass for free.

I’d say the game is added to the subscription I’m paying for and that I have a limited time to play it before it gets removed from the subscription service. The game is added to a service that I pay a monthly/annual subscription for, if I wasn’t paying for the service I wouldn’t get to play the game. It’s like Netflix and movies, I never once say, “Ooooo weeeee the movie I want to see is free on Netflix!!!”

Know what I mean, Vern?

Angyobangyo20d ago

You're paying for a service. It isn't free.

VersusDMC20d ago

Pretty sure the "haters" were referring to first party games losing quality due to gamepass. Lost is the need to polish a game that is just getting thrown into a service. Redfall and Starfield for example.

I don't recall anyone saying a third party games's quality was diminished for being on gamepass. Theses games have to be good for sales to happen on other platforms. Lies of P, Persona 3 Reload, Plague Tale Requiem, for example.
