Discord has shut down the Discord servers for the Nintendo Switch emulators Suyu and Sudachi and has completely disabled their lead developers’ accounts — and the company isn’t answering our questions about why it went that far.
One of the best metroidvania titles of recent years now has an official retail release for both Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5.
It has a mediocre player review on Steam, sitting at "Mixed" with 67% out of 173 players leaving positive reviews...not bad but definitely not "The Best Metroidvania You Never Played".
Rainbow Cotton was a Dreamcast exclusive back in 2000, and has never seen a release in the west. That is, until now.
A game that finds itself in search of something but ultimately comes up short.
Nintendo don't play. It's pretty obvious Nintendo sent them some legal papers and this is the result.
I downloaded what I wanted.
Maybe if Switch was EOL Ninentdo would not care as much. An emulator for a current console still at retail is just too early for a company to look the other way.
It’s been years with this sort of stuff and despite Nintendo obviously knowing about it they still refuse to remedy the situation
The online store for their online games is terrible, you still need Nintendo Online to get them rather than just paying for the ones you want without it.
They have pretty good control of their IPs so why haven’t we had most of their catalogue released yet
Nuke the emulator out of existence and 6 more will pop up and take it's place.
