Turbo Kid sets a standard of what an excellent metroidvania indie produced game should be.

You won’t be held at gunpoint by pop culture nerds if you have never heard about Turbo Kid. It is actually a Canadian superhero comedy film written and directed by François Simard, Anouk Whissell, and Yoann-Karl Whissell. We didn’t know that until we looked at the press material ourselves. One thing that we can say confidently, however, is that this is one film-based game that we are excited about; at least after watching the trailer.
Making a TK game, Amazeballs!!! Best videogame related news I've heard in months!! THIS MOVIE IS AWESOME!! Have the sweet, out of print version of the dvd! Will definitely keep an eye on this
