Suicide Squad's Bad Sales Prove Shooting Yourself In The Foot Is Never A Good Plan

Saad from eXputer says, "Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League sales disappointed WB, and I don't understand what it was expecting to achieve."

blackblades80d ago

WB been shooting themselves in the foot for awhile now. Its not just video games, wasnt here new leadership or something thats when all the crap started happening. Also didnt they say they would like more live service at one point

just_looken78d ago

They have not made a good media anything in years be it movies or there trash animated stuff.

blackblades78d ago

WB and Disney boss been meh but WB is worse.

CrimsonWing6979d ago

Worst part is they probably will try again

ravens5278d ago

They really need to have some one surf these game sites and forums. I don't understand what they're doing if they don't

Toecutter0079d ago

Marvels Avengers already proved that even a GAAS Justice league game wouldn't necessarily be a success just because it featured those characters. No matter what the IP, it still needs an engaging gameplay loop.

Knightofelemia79d ago

WB shooting themselves in the foot again is nothing new. A DC game that fails to do well in numbers is nothing new again. Is DC and WB going to release another shitty DC movie most likely. Will DC and WB learn from their past blunders I highly doubt it. Just another day for WB and DC wash, rise, repeat.

Killer2020UK79d ago

Prediction, WB make it F2P in desperate attempt to increase player base but only serve to alienate the people who paid for it in the first place.

No one to blame but themselves

Are they now getting it or they still going to push GaaS

senorfartcushion10d ago

They're still pushing live services.

XiNatsuDragnel11d ago

That's on Wb and unfortunately you guys too

isarai11d ago

The main thing I hate about this garbage, is that they gamble the livelihood of these studios by forcing them to do this when they don't want to. Then when it underperforms they shut them down for something they didn't even want to do in the first place.

zaanan10d ago

Agree; however, to be fair you left out the part where the developers whore themselves out to the publishing company in the first place. When you sell yourself to the highest bidder, you can’t complain when you no longer can do what you want to do.

Relientk7711d ago

Good. I don't want live service crap.

Chocoburger10d ago

They're going to try and shove more down our throats. Spit, don't swallow!

Always nice to get a pulse check from a developer you know it's day's are numbered.

Toecutter0015d ago

One word on when they plan to fix the game on consoles.

Psychonaut8515d ago

Bro there’s like 130 people playing your game, just Avengers it already.

BlackOni15d ago

I wouldn't be surprised if there were more people playing Avengers before they pulled the plug.

ChasterMies20d ago

Meaningless stat unless you tell us how many people you know.

Ninver20d ago
