The game is exactly what I wanted it to be, and it's a ton of fun. I just hate to see that pay-to-win BS. That needs to be called out immediately and addressed! Such a shame, when they have a wonderful game to have something like that holding it back...

It is already at 71% and seems to be slowly climbing. Also moistcritikal seems to be enjoying quite a lot as are many other people. Not completely but many matchmaking issues have been ironed out. Also more people online now than yesterday's launch peak. And a big record for Sony on PC. Seems to be doing quite well.

Apparently I’ve heard the anti-cheat DRM behaves more like a Rootkit. Which is staggering considering how much trouble Sony got into previously with trying to hide rootkits in their media. Which I’m old enough to still remember.

People who claim this game is paid to win clearly haven’t played the game. There is not pay to win items. And exactly who are you winning against? It’s a PVE game. It’s cosmetics and some standard weapons that give you ZERO advantage. I have the game on Steam and I’ve been playing it for hours. There’s no pay to win but there is a battle pass no matter how the devs try to disguise it.

It’s not pay to win, more like pay to progress faster. You can unlock everything by playing the game & it feels like unlock pace is reasonable, not a grind-fest which is what I was worried about.

PS5 crashed once & had to play alone due to matchmaking issues (hopefully fixed soon), besides that overall the game is good fun.

Afaik You can unlock everything by playing & without it being a huge grind (still checking on the grind).

If you pay you unlock faster.
Also it’s a PVE game. In which context are we competing with each other for your analogy to make sense? Genuinely asking.

Pay to win? You can unlock some stuff faster if you don't have the time to spare and play the game, I know a couple of friends who might do this, but otherwise you're just shortening your total gameplay time, which again could be fine for some (not for me).

The DRM thing sucks though, as we're always trying to squeeze as much as we can out of our hardware whenever possible.

I enjoy the game but I did blue screen last night and had a couple crashes to desktop. It’ll be nice when I can finish a challenging mission without disconnecting or crashing. My rig is fine, I play psycho settings cyberpunk in 2k so that’s not the issue. Hopefully they can release a patch soon.

Steam reviews were literally only bad because matchmaking wasn't working. The dev implemented a hot fix yesterday. We're up from 50% positive reviews to 71% in just ~12 hours.
