These are some of the most promising upcoming Souls-like games to look forward to in mid/late 2023 and beyond.
Game Science's upcoming action role-playing game, Black Myth: Wukong, will reportedly offer a New Game Plus mode at launch, and will feature over 80 boss
Happy this isn't vaporware! That is a lot of bosses though I wonder if some are randomly generated?
The wait for Hollow Knight: Silksong has been particularly arduous, but Team Cherry can keep it under wraps for a bit longer still.
According to Neowiz, the Lies of P DLC is scheduled to be released in the second half of 2024, and is being developed in-house.
Great news.
If anyone is still deliberating picking this game up, I highly recommend it.
I’ve enjoyed the game game and I think I’m just about to fight the end boss. The Pinocchio / puppet angle is the weakest part of the whole package imo. They should have just made their own world.
The fact there are 7 souls like games releasing is depressing af
Flintlock and Enotria both look good, especially the former. I've often fancied a Souls like set in a thriving and vibrant world to make a change from the depressing, decaying (albeit cool) environments that From conjure up.
Can't wait for Blasphemous 2, first game was excellent just needed a little polish on the gameplay side which presumably the sequel will have.
I don't typically get overly hyped for games nowadays, but I'm really, really looking forward to Lies of P.
>No Remnant
Trash list.
I see “Souls like” and all I think is how frustrating the controls will be and how little these games will respect my time. The “Souls like” mechanics in “Jedi Fallen Order” and “Returnal” left a bad taste in my mouth.
