Konami confirms that the games that make up the Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 1 can be purchased separately.
Duuro says: "I still like that this Master Collection exists, despite its flaws. It's definitely a time-capsule and if you are hungry to experience the brilliant stealth-action saga on modern consoles, you will find much to love. But you still have to remember that this is just a re-release and what was good back then in terms of controls, might feel rather alien nowadays."
The physical PlayStation 4 version of the Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 is out now in the EMEA region.
Today Konami announced its financial results for the first nine months of the fiscal year, related to the period between April 2023 and December 2023.
Horrible news more proof todays "gamer" is just a cow ready to be milked.
That mgs collection is no better than my ps3 copy but my ps3 copy has 0 server restrictions i always roll my eyes when reviewers or these new "youtube gamer" channels show off the information books on a webpage via a trash in game browser or the lack of controller support like it s a good thing.
Also GOG still has a better version mgs 1 or use the duck ps1 emulator.
Well time for the peace walker remaster pc port 480p 20fps needs a rtx 3090 or 6900xt to run with dunovo konami account then a govt id check.
Great to have the option, just like with FF Pixel Remaster. I will probably devour the original Metal Gear Solid on day one!
It's true. You can go out right now and get a copy of MGS for PS1 for $10, MGS2 you can probably find for a buck, and 3 is the golden goose of the series, so that one might be $20 for a copy of subsistence. Or you can go get the HD collection for $10 for PS3/360. What you don't need to do is support Konami cashing in on Kojima's team's actual hard work and passion because they refuse to make new games.
Only buying MGS2 as that is the peak of the series imo.
MGS1 is too outdated, played through it once, never again. MGS3 is too long and bloated.
Was hoping for this in physical format, but oh well.
