This, along with GT7, is a game I HAVE to play every time I get a chance to play. I don't see that changing any time soon - it's SO good!
Easy 9/10 it work so well, this game have calming and light hearted effect good start up game.
Can't wait to try myself
Can anyone tell me how does the tracking work in comparison?
I've tested on two separate Quest 2 headsets.
How does it relate to
- PSVR2?
- Rift S?
- Pico 4?
- Index (Lighthouse 2.0) tracking?
I'm not sure if I'm just that bad or the accuracy of the tracking lefts something to be desired. Sometimes it's just not going where I intended even if I do a few practice swings. Likewise, getting some trick shots done doesn't improve above like "once per 30 attempts" in practice mode. I mean the one where I need to put the ball through an off-course ramp, where you have just 5cm target or the ball ends up off course instead of going back onto the green. That's not that hard trick shot, but I just don't get any better at it after trying for 20 minutes straight. Also in some other games, like Eleven Table Tennis, it feels like tracking fails, in this case in 99,99% of my attempts of sending a "quick ball". It's like the tracking doesn't register quick moves with added wrist movements accurate enough. I don't use any wrist movements in Minigolf and tried adjusting put strenght in the menu down to 0,30x, but I still struggle sometimes with balls just 1 meter away from the hole.
Maybe I'm just that bad at minigolf, but I am curious to learn if other tracking systems make it easier to be better in this game. I love this game so much I'd consider buying a different headset for it, if it helps me making fails less often ;)
The game itself is truly among the TOP 5 VR games ever made, though.
