They were never part of the midnight sons in the comics or the spirits of vengeance.

Guess this is marvel shilling popular characters again for sales.

They had to include a few recognizable characters. Most gamers wouldn't recognize or care about most of these guys. Wolverine, Iron Man, Cap, and Dr Strange are fine though. And the Midnight Son's never had a huge roster anyways. So they had to add some more. I'm really glad most of the roster are more obscure characters though. I saw Magick, an X-Man and Colossus' sister, which is awesome to include her.

And Firaxis are experts at making quality strategy based games, so I'm all in on this.

Whatever man. It's a tactical RPG and the Midnight Son's are rather obscure, and never had a huge roster anyway. Most of this roster are still more obscure. It's fine for them to include some popular characters to help draw in more fans.

Magik was never in the Midnight Son's either, but its awesome they are including her. Also, Dan Ketch was Ghost Rider in the Midnight Son's. Blaze helped form them though.

Doctor Strange's model alone is enough to say that and 2K being involved with it is enough to confidently say this will have more ways to spend your money on than that game

And 2K has been involved with the XCom games too, and those were fantastic, non-money grabbing games.

No, but games like XCom don't have flashy amazing graphics and character designs. Have you never seen or played one? They're cutscenes look similar to this, and the top-down view of strategy games don't require character models to be the best thing ever.

But yeah, I can tell you've made up your mind about something you don't know much about, and a game you haven't even seen gameplay for, from a developer and genre you're not familiar with. So if you don't want to be open minded about it, that's on you.
