The PC version is pretty well optimized, especially these days.

The game was absolute ass but I put a good 30+ hours into it at launch on PC and super rarely had any crashes or even glitches.

The game has soooo much wrong with it on gameplay alone that it still deserves the negative attention so I'll give you an agree lol

They are not talking about performance. This is about Proton. They are saying that they have 100% compatibility of Steam games on Linux/SteamOS.

Switch can run Crysis and it looks half decent on there as well. I’ve played through most of the game on its 1280x720 screen without issue. I’m sure SteamDeck can run it much better.

What about future PC games that will be pretty demanding? You can only lower settings so far to make a game playable. Unless devs will target this handheld and optimize their games for it, then maybe yes it will be fine.
