I do not support a number of their business practices, but if you think that is all they have for exclusives you are either willfully ignorant or in denial of what is actually there. In fact, there is a certain 3rd party exclusive that is on fire right now, but I am sure you will ignore that fact because of your obvious bias.

You mean Monster Hunter?, third party exclusive hehe, more like poors man Monster Hunter World, still not sure if you are referring to that game, seriously not even a exclusive, honestly I really don't remember the names of other Nintendo exclusives maybe, I think there is Kirby, the big inflated head game that everyone catches insect or something in a village, I think there was a Platinum game long gone forgotten now, seriously 99% of the news surrounding Nintendo is like I said are about Marios, Pokemons and Zeldas. ughhhh 🤢🤢, I remember the time very long time ago when the release of a Mario game and a Zelda game was very special and awesome, but today those are just some big fat sick cows that just keep providing the same thing over and over again and all that because of Nintendo doesn't care about innovation, and people just keep buying their stuff that it doesn't matter how old / bad the milk is, oh this is just an opinion.

Calling Rise a poor man's MH World is all that needs be said to expose your bias. It reeks of bitterness that MH was not removed from Nintendo due to World's success.

Call it what you want, I own both games. Both are good, but Rise is better. I am certainly not alone on that, but hey thats just my opinion. The difference between you and I is that I was able to play both games to come to that opinion.

Last month I visited Nintendo Land in Universal Studios Japan. As a themepark fan I was in SHOCK to see that big areas of the Land are only accesible if you purchase a $30 armband.

We are not talking about added interactivity, you are physically not allowed to enter to look and walk around unless you purchase the band.

I have NEVER seen anything like this in any themepark.

But as usual, Nintendo somehow gets away with it 🤷‍♂️

although i do think this is an unfair comparison, youre a fan of themeparks which literally do the exact same thing as what you are condemning, only for even bigger areas of land. but because you are a fan of themeparks (and not nintendo?) that gives them a pass?

when it comes to gaming they are kind of greedy and especially those anniversary games theyve been releasing is the opposite way of how you celebrate an anniversary in gaming, making it exlcusive for a certain period of time...and pleas nintendo with your next console give a NORMAL controller as well for fucking once for each system sold.

Nintendo is a media darling and has the most loyal fanboys defending them 24/7. They literally sold a cardboard box for $60 and got praised. Their consoles cost a premium even though they are never up there specs wise(unlike others they want to make profit on every box sold) and their exclusives rarely drop in price and they straight up port old games and charge full price

If there was no PlayStation or Xbox Nintendo would have ruined the gaming market. We can thank both ms and Sony for actually competing and moving the industry forward

It's so funny and astonishing that when Nintendo is doing well their fanboys and these media members say they are competing with PlayStation and Xbox but when their systems don't sell we get the well Nintendo really isn't competing with PlayStation and Xbox and instead doing it's own thing

They are never treated equal in criticism because we all grew up playing either Nintendo or sega so they get a nostalgia factor. Where both PlayStation and Xbox get their share of criticism. Nintendo on the other hand gets to do whatever it wants and never face any real criticism

ZBOTW is the perfect example to this day. It's 9.7 out of 10 meaning near perfect scores and one of the best games ever made. Yet according to 14k+ user reviews it's 8.7 out of 10. It was never reviewed staying neutral because most reviewers were the ones making hype videos before release so how can they than review it fairly

Every console has their fanboys that will defend their console of choice to their death.
And yes breath of the wild is overrated. I’m currently playing it now, just got the master sword and dam this game is difficult. Some of the puzzles are so hard that idk how some teens or even kids are going to beat them without a guide.

Regardless of what happens they keep defending Nintendo at every turn and more power to you I am not bashing them I just want more neutral journalism in gaming. You cannot call out Microsoft and Sony for one thing and then praise Nintendo for the very same thing

@neutral there is absolutely 0 ways to measure or prove that they are the most loyal ones. maybe there is a somewhat more vocal loyal minority compared to the other 2, we dont know.
how can you say after that post you are not bashing nintendo? none of what you say, you can prove so in my book this does qualify as bashing nintendo since its all just pure speculation.

so there is only a 1 point gap between user and critic reviews, seems reasonable to me. Havent played the game so cant comment on the quality of the game itself.

Of course, they have some of the worst digitals policies. But now one seems to mention them.
Early closing of the Wii U shop.
No backward compatibility for digital games like snes old games.
The removal of online game just to create demands. Etc.
We can also says that Nintendo gets a free pass with their games too where others can easily gets bad review for generic Story telling well Nintendo is always exempt of this.

Those eshops were limited to begin with and didn't even allow game purchases within the store.

If Sony did the same thing those videos would get at least 4 times the view and retweets.
Or even here the vlog got approved and posted on weekend which is not exactly good for exposure.
