i actually liked how diablo 3 looked. i liked the colorful art style it was going for. not much of a fan of everything needing to be dark

This looks much better! Finally they are listening to fans. I thought D3 was a big disappointment, although it did have some addicting and interesting mechanics. Played D2 after that and always thought it felt much more atmospheric, and the story was just on another level. D2 is a true classic compared to D3. Even the first one was better.

And what's funny is I think if they just truly looped it, joined it so it was seamless as opposed to a weirdly obvious 2 second between each loop, we probably wouldn't have even noticed. As is? Super obvious, super annoying lol

Good to see Blizzard going back to the dark gothic look of Diablo. I liked D3 with the things they added, but the art style just didn't fit really.

D4 looks good on the surface, but after the recent change to Etched Sigil on D3, i simply cannot trust Blizzard anymore. Making small changes for balance is one thing, but completely changing the core function of a very popular piece of equipment, completely breaking atleast a dozen different builds in the process, is totally unacceptable.

With D2:R, we already know ~98% of what we are getting with it. Major changes like that will not happen. D4, like D3, is likely always going to be a functionally unstable game, with major nerfs happening frequently. On a game like Diablo where you can spend hundreds of hours perfecting builds, it is way too high risk to be bothered with, when Blizzard can go and trash all your work at the drop of a hat.

I think 4 has a chance to be really good and fun, but I'm looking forward to 2 remastered a lot. D3 really left a bad taste in my mouth and with the way the industry has gone since then, and Activision as well, I have to really temper my expectations

When it comes to the isometric perspective, I think TL Origin is the coolest looking game on the horizon.
