Genshin Impact's Dragonspine Update Breathes New Life into an Already Compelling Game

already quit the game, the game is great but the gacha is infuriating

yeah the rates absolutely suck and the currency cost is ridiculous....if you're not willing to blow HUNDREDS on the game, get used to having a mid-tier team (which is still more than enough to complete all the content in the game but the #FOMO is real)

Hundreds? I've spent nothing and have Diluc, Zhong Li, Mona and Qiqi as well as pretty much every 4* character. Do the extra challenges, do the dailys, play the constant events and you'll rack up 1000's of Primogems, then use them on banners that matter to you.

Every 10 wishes guarantees a 4* and every 90 wishes guarantees a 5* (that isn't to say you can't get more).

I've no issue with the gacha really especially since the game is free.

You got lucky then, you have to play a lot to get them. I've spent about £50 on it using the double resource thing. The Gacha got me, I have Childe and then all my other 90 wishes i've got 4 Jeans.

Haven't touched much on the gacha yet since I pulled Razor first try but who needs to worry about that if the game is great and you can enjoy it with your current roster?

Yeah I started off well and the gacha kicked in for me. I have Razer fully upgraded for example and and yet 7/9 wishes in the ZhongLi banner I get Razer again which is a huge kick in the teeth as once you have 6/6 constellations with him you get 5 masterless glitter or whatever it's called which is the equivalent of 1 wish. Then for my 5 star 90 wishes I've had Jean 4/6 times which is frustrating as I really wanted ZhongLi and Venti. I will return for 1.3 for the chance to get Xiao and Sayaka. .

This content was a great addition. The event was one of the better ones too. Genshin Impact is definitely a game you can take breaks and return to when new content drops.

im 100% f2p and have 3 5star chara (jean, childe and kequing) though i like deluq the most. Thats the curse of being free to play, you need to get used to the characters given to you by the system. If you want something then spend some dime. Thats whats this game is all about. In case youre wondering i got the 5 star early days via rerolling creating mutiple accounts.

Anybody that likes this game needs to play Immortals Fenyx Rising. Great light-hearted story, combat is really good, top notch exploration and puzzles. Not as complicated as Genshin as well.

This game is so awesome. The story, music, character, design, world...everything is so perfect to me, including how good they implement the F2P with gacha concept in the game.

I might never get Diluc though. I need my luck >.<

The gacha system was a huge turn off for me. Played it and enjoyed the game for a bit. Even played multiplayer with friends. The gacha just ruined the game for me.

This is true, bit the event was just one part of it. The new region to explore, as well as the puzzles, quest line, and treasures remain permanently.

As it is now, look at it as a decent content expansion while we wait for the next Archon quest to progress the main plot.
