It's funny people can defend a game like this

Only people that do are those who are lucky enough to not suffer from any of this stuff, basically "It works for me so f*** you all, the game is totally fine"

MadLad1241d ago

So either don't buy the game, or try your damndest to take advantage of the refund on offer, until next gen consoles are more readily available. Or get a PC.
It's exactly what PC gamers do when they get the odd bad port. It sucks, but it isn't the end of the world.

In a few months, next gen consoles, and the 3000 series GPU's, will be more readily available, and Cyberpunk will probably have a number of patches under its belt. Maybe even a discount. Some people have a good version of the game because of the hardware they have. There's nothing to do about that outside of wait.

neutralgamer19921241d ago

Hardware doesn't fix bugs/glitches those will only be fixed once game has been patched

MadLad1241d ago

@neutral

"In a few months there will probably be a number of patches under its belt".

I addressed this. Everyone is experiencing glitches, but the biggest issue seems to be low performance on the last gen consoles.

So, just like I said, if you can't deal with the bugs, and you don't have newer hardware of some sort, then wait a few months when things like the current gen consoles, and the recent, reasonably priced, PC hardware is more available.

Dee_911241d ago (Edited 1241d ago )

@TheRealTedCruz
"the biggest issue seems to be low performance on the last gen consoles."

the biggest issue is they released an unfinished game and deceived consumers. low performance falls way low on my issue list.

@-Foxtrot
yea i saw a few people saying that. But if you ask them, they are completely fine with mediocrity. this one guy said the game "only crashed 4 to 5 times" for him, and pop ins weren't a game breaker... at least acknowledge the game is broken rather you enjoy it or not 🙄

Fluke_Skywalker1240d ago

Balls mate, it's just as fucked on PC. Other than the totally broken frame rate on consoles.

SegaGamer1240d ago

The problem is that the pc version isn't so great either. It's a lot better than the console versions, but the bugs are still pretty damn awful at times and very hard to just ignore.

Because it does work for many people. It's just that others like to complain about whatever is popular and pick sides. Anthem was a piece of crap game with almost no content and died within months. Cyberpunk is massive and I've encountered minor issues playing on both PS4 and my gaming laptop so I'll keep enjoying it while people are at each others' throats.

That palm tree 🌴 @1:01

What lol

Knightofelemia1241d ago (Edited 1241d ago )

Standing on the motorbike with your pants disappearing had me laughing just share it with the world lol. Wish I had the glitch with buddy walking around with no head and blood squirting that one looks pretty cool.

Dee_911241d ago

cheeks where out so he definitely had the penis or vag showing in the front 🤣

JeffGUNZ1240d ago

I only ride motorcycles in his game because the driving is god awful, and I had that happen a few times yesterday. I was dying. How on gods green earth is this game this bugged that riding on a motorcycle results in your character standing up and being pantless?

Games That Were Bad on Release, But Are Now Great

BLG writes, "Some of the most popular games have had a rough start, with some of them being downright unplayable.

Despite that, developers have managed to turn it around for them and make their game worth playing. Here are some games that had a rough start but were pretty great."

Good list..hoped to see Street Fighter 5 there..and it is.

Vits8d ago (Edited 8d ago )

Sea of Thieves... I'm not disagreeing that the game has improved in terms of content. But I feel that the most significant change between now and its release is actually the public perception. Nowadays, most people are aware that the game is a multiplayer PvP-focused experience first and foremost, and not "Black Flag made by Rare". Consequently, people dismissing the whole experience because the single-player aspect is lacking or the story is plain are much less common.

darthv728d ago

Several years ago, i submitted an idea to Rare that would change up the mechanics of battling opponents in the game. whereby if you died in battle, you turned into a skeleton warrior and had to fight your way back to the land of the living. It was an interesting twist on respawning and would allow the player to experience both sides of a battle.

I keep hoping to see something like that get added to the game.

Kaii8d ago

They consider FO 76 & ME Andromeda to be great now 🤭

anast8d ago

Every game in the last 2 decades...

INMATEofARKHAM8d ago

It's sad that this quick retort is more often than not true... The industry's acceptance of release and patch has gone too far.

gunnerforlife7d ago

Days gone! By the end of the game I couldn't drop it down! I went around so many hours killing zombies! It was addictive by the end.

S2Killinit7d ago

That game was just plain good game. It didnt improve, it was just good.

gunnerforlife7d ago

I don't know, I got it abit late, and struggled for a few days, and then all of a sudden it just got good!!

Well they are using unreal engine now thanks to there work culture and horrific job on making cyberpunk so for the future no impact.

But it will be interesting to see what mods will be made

just_looken20d ago

7 disagrees shows how many look at one dlc that had a rip off fight from ghost in the shell and goes wow what a goat team i love cdpr while ignoring that they only made 2 games that were good witcher 2/3 in 20yrs.

But its a new world we want a criminal that support's legal murder as president/support shoplifting love toxic work environments and have a mass casualty event every other day.

GhostMirror20d ago

I’ll admit I didn’t play it at launch, but Cyberpunk 2077 is a really good game now.

And who the hell knows what you’re even going on about in your second paragraph here.

EazyC20d ago

Wait a min...I swear to god CP2077's source code got leaked before. CDPR needs to stop using "password123" for all their accounts 😅

just_looken20d ago

Na its hundreds ex employees no doubt just getting there revenge.

Profchaos20d ago (Edited 20d ago )

This is the same leak the threat actors have been trying to sell the source code after cd project didn't pay the ransom.

They didn't manage to sell the source code to any company largely because it would be unethical for say EA to buy it so the threat actors failed to find a buyer.

After they failed to make any money they went through with their threat of simply giving it away.

They will need to add everything they promised in the first one and not over promise on the second one.

just_looken20d ago

They also need to drop esg then hire employees that have knowledge not hire them because they have a set of tits.

Official video they hired people to fill the esg clipboard

Hofstaderman20d ago (Edited 20d ago )

As somebody who has been playing the tabletop games since the 90s and was let down on launch by my PS4 version, you can bet I'm not going the preorder any sequel.

nmbr1esq20d ago

3rd person option, and everything else that was originally promised. Next don't force agenda driven naratives. Finally, release a finished product without need for day one patches.
