Amaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazing , my dream came true , thank you god

Profchaos1490d ago

I'd hope so the original was a fairly early PS2 game and didn't look good for its time.

TheTony3161490d ago (Edited 1490d ago )

It was pc only. Never mind it was released on consoles 2 years later

Profchaos1490d ago

Yeah I did end up getting on PC but my first experience with this franchise was PS2.

cammers19951490d ago

This will make up for that God awful mafia 3.

Flewid6381489d ago (Edited 1489d ago )

Its literally part of the trilogy re-release. lol.

Considering that even the people who hate it agree it has the best story, I would hope so. lol.

New Mafia Game is in Development

Yagmur from NoobFeed writes - Very recently, we had news from Hangar 13, which is the studio that brought us the Mafia trilogy, that the chief operating officer Matthew Urban and the head of the studio Haden Blackman were leaving the company. This is not big news on its own, the studios always change hands and heads. But according to the latest news, a new Mafia game is at work.

The rise of Don Salieri would be an interesting plot.

The_Hooligan768d ago

Never got around to playing any of the Mafia games. I got Mafia 3 from ps plus and I think the other 2 are on Now but not sure. Would I have to play in sequence or are they stand alone games?

sourOG767d ago

I’d like a prequel honestly

Marcus Fenix766d ago

@The_Hooligan They are separate. at least the 1st game is separate from the rest.

The_Hooligan764d ago

Not sure how I get disagrees for asking a question lol. Anyway thank you for your response :)

Bigman4k768d ago

The 4th game is almost always a reimagining. For better or worse.

Woke isn’t an ideology it’s a generational mindset. It’s their logical baseline. Why would saints row go in the direction it did? That’s just the audience they are going for. You don’t market to old people who are already stuck in their ways. You aren’t convincing or persuading us of shit lol. They look at the money makers like fortnite and ask how they get a piece. How do I rebrand this for a new generation?

porkChop767d ago

I've been gaming for 28 years actually. I played the original from back when G.O.D. was still a thing.

Bigman4k766d ago

Yeah probably playing Super Mario Bros 😂😂

micdagoat19767d ago

love the games. Liked part 3 until the game save froze into me dying over and over and there was no way to fix it.

Can't wait, got a soft spot for the Mafia franchise, hope they can finally get the right balance for everything with this new one

Mafia Trilogy PS4 Review - A Mixed Bag of Mobster Mayhem - The Koalition

Adam Vale of The Koalition writes: Mafia: Trilogy definitely had a rather unorthodox launch back in July. The “Trilogy” only contained 2 of the 3 titles that being Mafia 2: Definitive Edition and Mafia 3: Definitive Edition. Mafia 1 which was advertised as receiving the full makeover treatment was delayed until late September. However, if you were unaware of this delay and just purchased the digital download, you may have been surprised to see no mention of the delayed Mafia 1 other than the fact it was missing.

A valuable collection overall and I'm curious to see where the devs take the franchise next.
