That’s what I’m working on now
Finishing up RDR2 at the moment
Just finished up Division 2, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Wolfenstein NO and Gears 4.
I have Death Stranding
CODMW
Code Vein
The Outer Worlds
Concrete Genie
And my most anticipated game this year
Borderlands 3 super deluxe edition all preordered and paid in full.
Still waiting for Darksiders Genesis release date to preorder that as well.

Yesterday I finally got the Platinum for the Witcher 3, that was my go to game between releases, I usually played like 10 to 15 hours of the Witcher and then went to something else, then back to the Witcher, even though The Witcher 3 it's an amazing game and experience all together in one sitting was too much for me.

Not that difficult in death march, but really time consuming to do everything

lazyboyblue1746d ago

A satisfying plat that one. But I still have to go back and trophy hunt the DLC.

RpgSama1746d ago (Edited 1746d ago )

@Lazyboyblue

Ditto.

I'll definitely take a break from the Witcher DLC and get back at it in a few months, I think I might either go now to the legend of heroes: Trails 2 or finally play Nier

TheGamez1001747d ago (Edited 1747d ago )

Indeed. September's going to be a crazy month, then theres oct and nov.....dear God....
Have only been able to put in 30hrs into three houses, so damn little time, life keeps getting in the way. Lets not forget gamescom and tgs too.

Kabaneri1747d ago (Edited 1747d ago )

Its a shame, so many games this gen that I either forgot about or didnt finish because my library is oversaturated. I feel like when I own too many games its difficult to focus on one at a time.

EdMcGlone1746d ago

Agree 100%, I hear Control is only going to be 10-15 hours and I'm all for it. I could use some new fun experiences that won't take me 40+ hours. I love me long games but when _everything_ is 40-60 hours + it's just too much and for some games, it hurts it, not everything can or should be RDR2, Dark Souls, etc.

8bitRey1746d ago

Currently I'm playing through Sekiro and MGSV for single player. For multiplayer I've been playing World War Z with some friends while we wait for Borderlands 3 and Monster Hunter ICEBORNE.

Very much looking forward to CONTROL and Man of Medan.

King_Noctis1746d ago

I’m currently go back and forth between FE Three Houses, DQ Builder 2, MUA 3, Spiderman, Yakuza Kiwami 2, and RDR2. I still have games like Judgement and Detroit which are just sitting there in my PS4 waiting for me to play. And with games like Astral Chain, Dragon Quest XIs, and Daemon X Machima coming soon, I doubt I could clear my backlog anytime soon.

Canceled & Abandoned DOOM Games We Want To Rip Into

Cultured Vultures: While we've been eating fairly good recently when it comes to DOOM, there are DOOM projects that never were or never can be ripped, nor (gasp) teared.

Doom absolution and 4 would've been nice

DefenderOfDoom261d ago

Midway did an excellent job porting DOOM 1 and 2 , just called DOOM, for Playstation in 1995 .

banger8861d ago

This is my favourite version of Doom. It also had the best soundtrack imo. Very ambient and creepy as f***. I never liked the rock music in the PC version, then again I grew up on the PS1 version so maybe I'm biased towards it.

DefenderOfDoom261d ago

Aubrey Hodges did a awesome job with the music for Playstation DOOM. I really liked the reverb type sound effects when you picked up health and armor in PS DOOM . Did not play PC DOOM until 2006 when it came with the collectors edition of DOOM 3 . I had a lot jump scares from Demons when I played PS DOOM back in 90S and was in my late 20s back then. And remember having nightmares of me being in DOOM , I remember in my nightmares Demons were chasing me and was climbing up ladders running scared from DOOMs Demons. Crazy scary but very fun times!!!

Now that Remedy owns Control, it’s time to reclaim Quantum Break

Alan Wake 2 studio Remedy Entertainment has reclaimed the rights to Control, and now sci-fi hit Quantum Break deserves the same treatment.

Totally agree with that especially when Quantum Break has several references to Alan Wake and Alan Wake make allusions to QB.
I do believe that MS and Remedy can work things out and MS has usually been nice to devs and publishers regarding IP.

Obscure_Observer78d ago

They can't "reclaim" what was never theirs.

Petebloodyonion78d ago

I’m sure we can settle for purchase from MS the IP.

Lightning7778d ago

MS is not doin anything with it. Plus they're doing a multiverse of their own so Remedy needs the IP.

If MS wants to have exclusive let it be timed for 6 months then go to other platforms. MS seems to be, let's say, generous with some if their games as of late.

Or have QB2 be multiplat from the jump, put it on GP. Keeping QB2 as an exclusive is kinda weird these days.

@Petebloodyonion

"I’m sure we can settle for purchase from MS the IP."

Good luck

@Lightning77

"MS is not doin anything with it."

Japan Studio is dead nd Sony isn´t doing anything with Bloodborne either! Yet I can 100% guarantee that there´s a far bigger demand for a sequel, remake or even a remaster for that game from both PS5 and PC gamers.

That been said, why don´t you ask Sony tol sell the IP to Fromsoftware now that according to rumors, they bought Elden Ring from Bandai?

ZwVw78d ago (Edited 78d ago )

Reclaim? That would mean that they actually owned the ip at one point, which they never did (MS always has). Apples & oranges. Remedy always owned the Control ip (just not the publishing), as they have with Alan Wake.

About as likely as them getting the Max Payne rights from Rockstar.

mastershredder78d ago (Edited 78d ago )

Sending you game to a publisher does not mean they get "rights to own it " unless that was part of the contract (monetary/ strategic reasons). 505 was the publisher they worked with to publish and distribute it, it dos not mean that 505 flat out "owned" anything, clearly they did have a special arrangement that made them open to limit their publishing rights. and so here we are and big whoop

Jingsing78d ago (Edited 78d ago )

Yeah get Quantum Break PS5, only if you put it on disc with all the associated movie material.

isarai78d ago

I mean they got the Alan Wake IP back from MS, so I feel like they could get QB back as well

Remedy Takes Full Control of Control Franchise From 505 Games

Remedy Entertainment has announced that they've purchased the full rights to the Control franchise from 505 Games.

isarai79d ago

Oh nice, I wonder if they'll try to do the same with Max Payne 🤔

-Foxtrot79d ago

I hope so, Rockstar ain't doing shit with it sadly.

I loved the gameplay in Max Payne 3, it was fantastic but it just didn't feel like Max Payne at its core, it felt like they were doing a new IP or experimenting with one and reshaped it into Max Payne

The Noire, the atmosphere, the dark grittiness, the graphic novel cutscenes, Mona Saxx were all missing.

I'm hoping if they ever get the rights back they do their own version of Max Payne 3, off the secret ending from MP2 where Mona survives.

Max was finally starting to heal thanks to Mona in MP2 and in MP3 they just put his character back to square one, all that development gone.

isarai79d ago

Kinda what I'm thinking too, like as much as I'd love for R* to give it their unmatched magic touch, they're not doing anything with it.

I loved MP3, only gripe was that the story had very little to do with Max personally but it was still great. The Mona ending would be amazing and honestly not entirely out of the realm since MP is kinda considered part of the control universe, though I would like that to stay out of MP as much as possible and be it's own thing.

The fact that we haven't gotten a MP3 remaster is crazy imo

JL293079d ago

Why would you need a Max Payne 3 remaster? You must be on console.

isarai79d ago

I'm on both, still want a remaster

GamerRN79d ago

I think Control was a great game that deserves a sequel

Machina79d ago

A sequel is in the works - they announced it a couple of years ago.
