The upcoming Dark Souls inspired action RPG Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption will be enhanced for PlayStation 4 Pro but not for the Xbox One X, the developers have confirmed. They also talked about a potential Switch port.
TGG says: "Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption offers some very interesting boss fights and introduces an innovative new concept through its “sacrifice” theme, causing you to grow weaker instead of stronger as you progress. While your character may end the game as a weaker version of himself, you’ll come out as a stronger player. Only a few unfortunate technical issues hamper it becoming a true indie gem, but in the end, I have no regrets about spending time with this challenging title."
Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption, the boss battler from publisher Another Indie and the AAA veterans at developer Dark Star Game Studios, brings new challenges and content to the arena today.
Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption is a Souls-inspired boss rush a unique hook:every time you defeat a boss, you become weaker. A strong idea that's executed well, though not without a few stumbles.
That might be fun to try out on the Switch one day.
looks cool
Misleading title. It doesn't say they aren't upgrading the X version. They simply state the Pro looks great, which likely means Sony has marketing rights. At no point did the article say no X support.
Must not want the game to look its best
