"Originally, I was writing a piece to hype up the latest Wolfenstein game: Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. However, on release, this game was just so pointlessly boring and agenda-driven that I couldn't help but scrap that and put this piece together. " - MCXV
Also added this month: The Evil Within, Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom, Paradise Killer, Dishonored: Definitive Edition.
Riders republic. Nice. I never bought it but played beta twice. Good fun openworld game.
I kept getting caught up in other games so I never got around to buying Doom Eternal. If it's good I'll still buy it so i can keep it. The reboot was awesome, i think i played through it about 5 times, and platinumed it.
A whole lotta Bethesda titles in this lineup
Sackboy also got included as well despite already being as Essential title
Spiderman is in the titles leaving Extra in May. Guess 1st party titles aren't guaranteed to stay
Great Month, own most of them but looking fwd to trying monstor boy, nice sto have EW in my collection now and some wolfeinstein.
Despite lacking Call of Duty, the Nintendo Switch has many great shooters to replace it. Here are some of the best shooters on Switch.
Anyone else have a small but noticeable delay in aiming on Borderlands 2? Anytime I move the aiming reticle, there is maybe a quarter of a second (250ms) delay before it moves. Happens in both Handheld and Docked.
I haven’t bought one shooter for Switch. It’s just to weak to play them good enough. I really don’t play my Switch at all anymore. Going to sell them and wait for Switch 2.
BLG writes, "There can be only one best Wolfenstein game. Since the franchise’s debut in 1981, the Wolfenstein series has graced our gaming platforms for over forty years. It’s hard to believe, but it’s true! In honor of that legacy, we’re going to list some of the best Wolfenstein games and the worst. That’s right: it’s the Wolfenstein games ranked."
Scheiße! Nein.
Return to Castle Wolfenstein is the best in the series. After that:
New Order
New Colossus
Old Blood
I really wish they'd remake Return to Castle Wolfenstein from the ground up. Easily the best of them all.
I didnt think it ran so well on low-end hardware
I could not disagree with you more.
And how is this agenda driven? It's the same premise as always: Nazis = bad.
You're entirely welcome to not like the game, but the series is no more political than it has been since it launched 3 decades ago.
I think it's awesome! I don't really do FPS's anymore but this is a great game!
I wasn't pulled into it like the first game...my problems with the game were little issues that one their own you can brush off but they built up and became really god damn annoying
The worst part of this game is the Stealth...yeah I know it's a game about shooting the shit out of things but if you give us the option to do that and even put some form of Stealth/tactical skill tree in the game then why not go the full way with it.
They literally see you straight away even if they aren't looking your way or if they are miles away, the dogs who are with the commanders run towards you even if you haven't been spotted, all enemies suddenly know where you are when the alarm has been rang even if it's just because they've discovered a body when you are no where near it, you can't stealth some enemies because the explosions alert everyone, you can't even bloody pick up bodies to move them despite the abilities you get later on...I mean WTF come on, I felt the stealth in the first game was a little better.
I was really worried about the commie stuff since the reveal, actually. It seemed like it was setting up the rebellion group to be at least somewhat socialist, and I just can't get into a game where I'm just replacing one awful, oppressive system of government with another one. Especially since, if that's the direction they're going in, it will be fantasy communism straight out of a 19 year old college kid's Marx essay.
