I have to admit even the FFVII ones seem a little rough along with the FFX/X-2 HD ones

I mean some of them seem like they expect you to dedicate your life to them and do multiple playthroughs where if you mess up you'll have to do it in your second playthrough

The dodge Lightning strikes one in FFX...good grief.

I'm one of those people who will say they won't even bother then find myself at 2am jumping the rope

zekk2455d ago

Sadly I'm probably the same just cuz it feels so doable but at the same time so out of reach

KwokXi2455d ago

FFVII platinum was easy, this one is ridiculous :'(

I'm going to buy it but not worry about trophy, I haven't actually beat IX before *.*

Bahamut2455d ago

I got every single trophy in FFVII EXCEPT the Barret date one. Didn't realize exactly what was required in the beginning of the game, so now I have to start all over. After like 200 hours of gameplay. W/e. W/e. It's cool........

DaMist2455d ago (Edited 2455d ago )

i can see why they turned that one in FFX into a trophy, since you'll be doing that to collect the one celestial weapon anyways (if you want to), but i dont know if there was a similar activity in the original FF IX

Tales of Symphonia requires like 4 playthroughs.

Tales of games in general are pretty rough.

Oh screw that. I can beat that superboss Ozma, but to hell with skipping rope that long

zielocz3k2456d ago

my record is 23 jumps lol, so annoying

FallenAngel19842456d ago

When beating a Final Fantasy superboss is easier to get a Trophy for than a mini game 😒

My brother hit 1000 back in the PS1 days. Never understood how he could possibly do it. I got to 200 I think, at most...

Gh05t2455d ago

Its about recognizing the pattern. After 200 it goes from just a single button press timing to a pattern button press timing i.e. press press pause press and that changes every 100 if I remember right.

It is ridiculously hard but its not impossible.I find the hardest part to be the endurance. I still remember my hand cramping trying to get this when FFIX first came out

Snookies122455d ago (Edited 2455d ago )

I just couldn't keep my concentration after the 150-200 mark. My eyes always started to get tired of trying to keep up lol.

I absolutely love FFIX, but I'm never even attempting this trophy. If I couldn't do it back in the day, there's no way I'll be able to these days.

One of the most memorable fights I ever played. I almost didn't want to pull the trigger at the end.

I liked it a lot, I will not compare it with other final fantasy, But I hadn't felt that emotion for a long time playing since the final fantasy vll remake, it lacks some things, it's not my goty, but it deserves a place in my heart, with that I say everything.
