Well, finally getting GOTY version of shadow of mordor. I missed the DLC the first time round. Now with the pro patch, might as well.

Too bad this isn't happening next week though, would have loved to use this to get that $15 back on $100 deal.

It wasn't even worth $60 at launch. At $8 it's totally worth it if you have the Pro. That HDR is no lie.

the open world sucks, like any other western open world game. the gameplay is alright.
overall, its below average, but a waste of time really.

What about the gameplay is only "alright"? The combat and implementation of your powers is spectacular. Traversal is so smooth and the controls are exceptional. It is also a visual masterpiece and the voice acting and performance capture is top notch. The story is perhaps the weakest of the three games, but it certainly isn't "lol". I really fail to see how it's below average.

Average a 80 on metacritic, so your opinion is in the vast minority. Is the game perfect, no it is not. But was it a good game at time of launch, absolutely. And tons of people also agree. Like someone wants to take a word from someone constantly trying to downplay any thing PS, then turn around and make a comment about not being able to say anything about Sony.

If you objectively post your opinion, people will take you a little more seriously instead of being a troll hater. But this is your opinion on ISS.

At $8, I'd call it a steal. I forget when exactly I bought it (sometime around launch) but I enjoyed it. You may experience some buyer's remorse at full price, if only because you may not revisit it after you accomplish everything.

Not to say the quality of the game suffers; Sucker Punch did a great job. If anything, I think $30 is a fair price. So, if you want my opinion, at $8, definitely go for it.

bought second son, seemed like a good price. Although i'm still playing tales of berseria and then horizon zero dawn is next. So second son will have to wait.

Edit: Also my hdd is full. I do have a 2tb external though. Just gonna have to wait for the update from sony before i start on it.

Yeah I heard good things. Which is why I decided that I should buy it while it's so low on the flash sale. I doubt I could get a deal like that even from a used store at this time.

I recommend 2 play throughs with Infamous. Theres good and evil moves and its a completely different game when you chose how your character will be.
