@zahdab two of the last three months haven't held it on the third friday. I'm not taunting. I'm asking if the dates were official, because if not, then there's a chance there will be a flash sale to coincide with this deal. I know that the third Friday is usally the case, but not always. See, if I had asked "When are the flash sales usually held?" you'd have a point, but I asked where the dates for this month's flash sale were retrieved from. Basic reading comprehension really.

This is only good for those that preorder Ghost recon and buy Horizon. or something similar, i'll pass on it because I don't see another game worth buying besides Horizon for now.

depends on what you buy though. Prime is only good for recent releases. So if something's on sale on psn, or an older title, or an indie, etc. and that's what you're using to bring you up to the $100 might not be the best bet in this case.

Of course, he could always just get horizon and not have to worry about building up to $100.

This is a digital sales tactic. They are blowing out every other platform in sales. I really dont think its about that, maybe a little. But I'm starting to think they would sell their soul to get you to go digital.

unfortunately, if you're my age or younger, in our lifetime we will likely see digital only at some point. However, until hard drives are big enough or the Cloud is utilized it makes no sense to move toward digital only. Even then, a lot of us who have grown on physical media appreciate having a copy to own. At the end of the day as much as even I say I'll play old consoles if digital only become a thing, well, I'll likely just embrace it because I love gaming and there will be plenty of titles I'll have to play.
