Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands Gets 20 Minutes of Single Player Gameplay, Looks Great

Ubisoft shows off a nice chunk of single player gameplay of Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands, and it looks great.

I think there is a spotting mechanic on the game that causes this, at least I hope thats the case. If not, lets hope that this is optional.

Yeah it is a spotting mechanic but it kinda ruins it for me. Kills the thrill of fighting enemies. Feels less organic

Looks like a mix of Far Cry and The Division. These games get really repetitive to me. And the gunplay is entirely to easy!

If you look at the lmg later, you'll notice the recoil. It looks easy in the beginning because he's not using gun at full auto and it's a ar that has good recoil. As for the game, if you've played ghost recon before then your notice how division is like it and not the other way, though this one is more open world. The series has been around longer, since ps2 days.

That is because they can use drones. They used to let you have the option of disabling that in the custom co-op games for GRAW. Hope they have that option for this game also. You also lost your in-game mic when you dies. So if you call out to one of your crew and he ain't responding, you know he got snuffed. Also hope they allow for teams of up to 8 in custom co-op later. Maybe through a patch or added mode.

I do think you need to know where those enemies you spotted are in the single player though. You are not only see with your eyes, but with those of your team mates and drones.

it's called making use of the drone and marking them up. You can use your squad in single player to sync shots and take our multiples

So you can give squad commands in this? I might suddenly be interested. It was a mistake for rainbow 6 to drop this. And no campaign. Made it a no purchase for me. Don't we have enough MP shooters?

I want a deep strategic single player shooter and a squad I can command. I wish conflict desert storm and brothers in arms would come back. Or full spectrum warrior for that matter.

Full Spectrum Warrior...........that name takes me back. Unfortunately, the days of games like Freedom Fighters are gone and the few that tries to tread the path become hampered by annoying designs such as regenerating health. I'm still waiting for a shooter I can depend on to take Socom's place........

Wrong. Siege is the best multiplayer shooter this gen and the only tactical AAA multiplayer fps this gen.

This game looks like another generic Ubisoft single player game.

Looks like The Division in a new area ;) Not meant to be a negative point cause I like The Division. IMO one can see the Origin of both games is Ubisoft. Looks interesting :)
