Resident Evil 7 Leaked in The Middle East a Week Before Launch

Various retail outlets in Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Qatar have shown copies for sale today with most of them coming tomorrow. Of course this only includes the PS4 and Xbox One versions as the PC version is DRM locked to Steam (which won’t run until release).

Dude, like I kinda get where you're coming from but let's give it a chance. Remember RE4 was hated on for being a departure from the series until a lot of people got their hands on it and played it. I suspect RE7 might be the same. Watching a stream completely changed my outlook on it. I was sort of not feeling it from the demo and how little they have shown and talked about.

Obviously you haven't played the demo, particularly on PSVR. Some great PS4 demos lately. RE7 on PSVR, Nier Automata, and the gorgeous Gravity Rush 2 which looks incredible. We also had that Nioh demo a little while back, plus tons of PSVR demos.

You play a character who goes looking for his missing wife, finds the mansion, finds a messed up, canabalistic half human, half zombie family and you have to escape while coming across clues as to what is really going on.

I mean, even a simple search of trailers on Youtube will tell you that....

@Spudgun, there is NO WAY you played this on PSVR if you are branding it "crap".

It adds so much immersion, it's genuinely the most scary videogame I've ever played - including the awesome PT - and that was just the demo. You're "crap" comment, can only be because you haven't got it and either don't want it (probably brand loyalty, lol) or can't spare the cash. Everyone that tried it wants this in VR, to play it on a TV after trying VR is to be disappointed, seriously. If you don't have PSVR and have never played this on it, I'm sure you'll still have a great time, but you REALLY don't know what you're missing.

It is pretty easy, really :)
The guy is a perfect manifestation of a scheming slick backstabbing bad boy from the mid 90's, his dialogue is either the self-gloryifying egocentric talk about his ultimate goal of becoming a "God of the new world", or the slithering collection of stylish villainous mockeries which target his enemies, both of those are delivered through almost Disney-levels of campy villain tonalities.
To be more precise - Wesker is the type of villain that is dying in today's media, he is the product of the time when all villains were slick, stylish, self-absorbed, over-ambitious, scheming and constantly permeating with pure unrealistic love for anything and everything evil :)
In other words - he is the perfect villain for the Resident Evil series, the series about B-movie horrors, largely not subtle horrors and which takes place in the universe where large international corporations sanction the development of deadly viruses... Basically - completely ridiculous and as such - lovely.

Albert Wesker is one of those villains we love to hate. He is just that reminiscent of our own self-absorbed darkness :)
