Koei Tecmo Teases Game “You’re Probably Longing to See;” Reveal Could Come at the End of the Year

Today Koei Tecmo Producer Kou Shibusawa was on stage at Sony’s pre-Tokyo Game Show press conference to introduce Musou Stars, and he had a further tease to deliver.

After nioh I'm fucking pumped! I loved ninja gaiden 1 and 2 but the 3rd was straight trash. I was pissed. I liked the 360 version of ng2 where blood sprayed everywhere like old kung fu flicks. Such a fun chaotic overkill of a game.

I would also take a ninja game like tenchu. They have the semi open level down pat now. Instead of a bruting with the samurai like in nioh you could hit the shadows and rooftops like a ninja. That would be dope and I would buy.

I agree but it just has to so with the head of development. NG1 and NG2 were of course headed up by Itagaki and his team NGS1 and NGS2 and NG3 were done by Hayashi and you can tell the difference.

I'm familiar with itagaki's name but not hayashi. I can tell the difference, the sigma's sucked. He got his shit together with nioh though. Did you like the nioh beta?

Itagaki is now doing that F2P game right with his own indie studio, right?

Sigma 1 was awesome... Sigma 2 was great but the purple cloud crap was silly instead of the blood. NG3 and Razors Edge was meh!

I never played the first sigma. I played ng1 on Xbox and ng2 on 360. I played sigma 2 and ng3 on PS3 and I hated them. I've never even heard of Razors edge but I looked it up and it's a wiiu exclusive... Hopefully the next one is on the ps4 and not an nx exclusive.

The original NG3 sucked but razor edge fixed most issues so that one was ok to play. I would of platinum it if weren't for the online trophies.

People don't really care for Ninja Gaiden anymore I'd think? How's the sales been of the last entries? It became better without Oatmeal Cookie Face director but I mean....it was a last-gen early-in gem that just slowly lost its popularity by sequels that weren't as good as the original game prior.

In all seriousness I hope it is either a new Gitaroo Man, Uncharted Waters or Romance of the Three Kings game. I doubt it will be one of those three though and instead be a new Ninja Gaiden game instead.
