Phil Spencer Talks Gamescom, Possible Future Events, Project Scorpio, Xbox One S and More

Today Xbox Division Head Phil Spencer had one of his usual Twitter sprees, mentioning that he won’t be at Gamescom, teasing future events, and talking more about the Xbox platform.

I glad that Xbox has turned around for the better but is anybody else getting tired of hearing from Spencer every 5 minutes. I don't know guess it's just me. I really want to here more about the Scorpio though.....

I don't mind that he's active on twitter, and addressing the community and answering questions. It's nice to have an exec like that. I think he does PR it up a bit too much in responses, but that's kind of part of his job.

It does get old seeing the articles on here every day about what he said though, because more often than not, it's not anything new, and usually just some PR line.

Sony has it's moments too, but they are no where near as frequent, and usually more formal outside the random twitter post.

I think the frequency with which it gets reported makes it seem that MS is desperately trying to be seen in the media space, but when I really stop to think about it, it's just Spencer being active in engaging with the community, and the media taking any chance they can at getting some article out about it to gain a few advertising pennies.

Scorpio games are gonna be out of this world and a Xbox standalone conference would be great
