If you gave Videoball a passing glance, you would probably come away with the impression that it’s nothing more than a simplistic minigame, the kind you might play a few times when friends are over before you all lose interest. That’s in some ways intentional, game director Tim Rogers told me at PAX East.
“We wanted to make a Mario Party game that was eligible for the Olympics,” he said.
Whether it was taking the perfect corner or ripping the net with a scorching shot, this year was filled to the brim with some incredible sports titles.
Michael from TVG writes "Videoball by made by MMXVI Action button it’s a very simple but rather fun and addictive arcade game it’s sort of a mix of pong and rocket league, in my opinion, it’s a very easy game to pick up and play, anyone can give it a go without too much trouble."
One gripe that players have had post-release is that getting into an online game could sometimes be a royal pain in the backside. Even we've experienced our fair share of connection errors and games just not being found, so it's great to know that Action Button has taken steps to remedy to problem.
