Given the hype, VideoGamer couldn't help but feel that the first game was disappointing, despite it retaining a healthy addictive quality. But there are plenty of flaws in Denis Dyack's loot hunting game, which leaves them plenty to get their hands dirty with their Top 10 Ways to make Too Human 2 amazing. There's a lot they like about Too Human, but there's also a lot they don't.

What Too Human 2 Needs

"A 3D Diablo wonderland of cybernetically enhanced Norse gods." That's what Too Human is. While the first game has some speed bumps (spread out over nine years), a sequel could fix what was wrong and make the series as great as it should be.

Know many wont want to hear it, but some clone-age from the GOW people wouldn't hurt. Certainly to be more familiar and stick with one game engine.

Too Human got a bad rap, sequels still possible says Dyack

Too Human had been planned as an Xbox 360 exclusive trilogy when it launched in August 2008, but the game was panned critically and did not live up to sales expectations, leaving the future of the Silicon Knights franchise in doubt. Silicon Knights boss Denis Dyack, however, believes there is still hope and he told GamesIndustry International that an abundance of details will be revealed on May 14, the date set for his company's trial with Epic Games.

Lol, really now? Too Human was an interesting idea, but the game was sadly just terrible.

I'll never forget the insanely melodramatic videos, the best of which starred a professor with a library of books talking about "Flow" in videogames.

And while I agree and believe in flow, it just cracks me up that they had someone so knowledgeable in what makes a game so good that it absorbs you and causes you to lose time and place...yet they themselves are unable to pull it off.

nothing that was wrong with that game couldn't be fixed with a more stable budget and time release.

the loot and combat system was spot on

it was just too little levels and lack of 4 player co op that killed it

Too human budget was around 60 million.Silicon Knights just couldn't deliver on their promises made.many studios have produced quality with lesser funds.

Dude still doesn't admit that Too Human failed because of the studios poor design/gameplay problems.

I was interested in it until I played the demo. I recall the controls being an abomination. Key buttons weren't even being used...

i thought the game was alright nothing great. just the damn death and re-spawn was terribly long and irritating.

I enjoyed it somewhat, very deserving of the less than perfect reviews but also very deserving of a properly made sequel.
Won't hold my breath though.
