I based my decision to buy a PlayStation 4 partly on the fact that P.T. was on it exclusively. Mere months after I bought my new system and played the much-discussed demo for Silent Hills, P.T. was removed from the PSN store forever. In retrospect, this was without a doubt the smartest video game console purchase decision I ever made. P.T. is now, effectively, a rare game. And unlike other collector’s items, this one can’t be easily resold
Step on the gas with this amazing retro racer.
Sony is in the middle of an FPS crisis, but bringing back two much-loved PlayStation shooters could easily be the solution.
I honestly don't think we'll be seeing these anytime soon, if ever. Insomniac is officially on Marvel duty since it seems that all they're working on based off the leaks, and Horizon is more of what the casuals want these days. And I now I'll get a bunch of disagrees, but keep in mind that Resistance last got a game on the PS3 (2011) and Killzone was a launch title for the PS4 (2013). 10 years is a long time to make a game, if had any interest they would've done it by now, add InFamous to that list.
Resistance 3 turned me off to the series but I’d love a reboot. KillZone I think can stay dead. Give me a new Resistance like 1or 2 and I’ll be happy.
I honestly never cared or liked killzone. Huge resistance fan though. I remember so many nights playing melee only on USS Lexington, and I like the alt history vibe.
The main story length in Sega and Atlus' upcoming role-playing game, Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, has been revealed via its first review.
Wow!, very good researching there. Have to try this out.
It's just another example of how, outside of Nintendo, the Japanese are torpedoing their own significance to the videogames industry. I worry that Deep Down will be a disappointment for the same reason. Silent Hills wasn't due to all be like PT as far as has been hinted and the PT part was said to not even be in the game. Fair enough if the game would have been like PT in tone and setting but I'm betting that the full game would have been half as scary at best.
I hope Kojima and Del Toro take all the ideas and concepts from Silent Hills and make it a completely new horror game.
