We Asked Publishers Which 360 Games They'll Make Playable On Xbox One

Microsoft announced Xbox One was getting Xbox 360 backwards compatibility at E3 this year, a feature everyone but Nintendo moved away from this hardware generation. We haven’t heard much since, so we decided to ask a bunch of game publishers about some of their biggest games.

For myself I would like to see Bethesda and Take-Two games on my Xone

I believe these companies may release some of their game on Xone.
their games are great and one of the best games in the last generation.

I think publisher will gain profit from BC, some of these games are Dead even tho they are great. Skyrim with 10, 5 or 15 price tag will encourage people to buy them and it will sell like a hot cake

Sorry, but the article is kind of pointless as all it really says is "All the publishers had no information for us".
I was very happy to see this feature implemented but I have a horrible feeling that its never going to be taken advantage of and most of these games will never be seen to run on Xbox One.

Bring me Left 4 Dead, I beg you.

With all the remasters in HD nowadays, do you think the publishers will just make the HD games gather dust?? there will be games that publishers will not allow to be emulated on xbone. This is the same thing with Xbox original to Xbox 360. Lots of BC games but not everything.

Pretty much no comment or we'll let you know soon from every game publisher. If there's no news on the matter what's the point of writing an article. All I know is Ubi better make South Park BC. The new gen started before I was able to finish it, but I loved what I played.

if a publisher doesn't make their games available for backwards compatibility , especially since they don't have to spend any money to do it just give ms the go ahead , i'll never buy a game from that publisher again .

thats fine , saying no to backwards compatibility would be the most anti gamer anti consumer thing a large company could do , they won't be missed . even EA is doing it lol
