Insider Tidux says Star Wars Battlefront gameplay is "ridiculous"

According to what the insider Tidux is saying, Star Wars Battlefront gameplay will break the internet: "just can not believe what I have just seen."

Before Morpheus was revealed Tidux had nothing to say. Hours after it was revealed he said Morpheus support was being added to an in development Gran Turismo! Now he says Battlefront is ridiculously good which makes it sound like he has access but he is in fact revealing nothing and the gullible just lap it up. I love insider info as much as the next person but the sharer has to earn trust first.

I think the only DX12 games we'll see this year are Fable Legends and Halo 5. This has been in development too long to already be built in DX12 from the ground up but I could be wrong.

If I'm not mistaken, Frostbite lead engineer just recently stated that by holiday 2016 he _hopes_ all EA games will be DX12 based. And yes, usually lead engineers do have a say.

On Topic: This is the only Star Wars game I've been looking forward to since GC's Rogue games. Damn that first one was the coolest game ever when it arrived!

Me too. We know frostbite now supports dx12 and the dev comments about it lead me to believe this may be the case.

Halo 5, Forza 6, Fable Legends, Dues Ex, and im sure a few more are coming out this year that support dx12.

Makes sense that Battlefront would too considering the devs stance on it but i could be wrong.

Game will be using DX12. I hope the Xbox One versions utilizes the DX12 features without being hampered by the PS4.

Not much of a secret when plenty of info is on the internet showing DX12 will help utilize all cores.

PS4 will also have its own API that will do it as well however we dont know how far along Sony is with their own.

I dont know why people say this like its something new. Battlefront has always been very much like Battlefield. The only real difference was hero characters and the ability to switch between first and third person.

Other than that, Battlefront games have been very close to Battlefield.

Each team has a set amount of "tickets" or respawns. Run around a battle field capturing control points. Every point that is captured helps to drain the amount of tickets the other team has. When the ticket pool reaches 0 that team loses. You can fight on foot or in vehicles.

Now, from that description alone, was i describing Battlefield or Battlefront games? Exactly, you can't tell because they have always been that similar.

Yeah Battlefield and Battlefront are similar, but they still had their own identities. Have you not played Battlefront and Battlefield? They are totally different games. When people are saying they don't want a battlefield star wars reskin, they are pretty much saying they want all the features that made Battlefront unique from Battlefield. You know able to switch from third person to first person view, able to play as our favorite star wars character. Epic space battles. Galactic Conquest. Etc. I mean it's not that hard to not to screw up Battlefront. But since it's EA/DICE and Battlefield is their biggest franchise, I can see them screwing up Battlefront by just making another Battlefield game with a Star Wars Reskin.

Leaks are people inside the company purposely throwing stuff out, either without their bosses knowing, or as part of a controlled leak to gain more media attention.
