I'll stick with Arrow/Gotham/Constantine/The Flash
while I wait for Titans/Daredevil/Supergirl.

The plot is awful.

morganfell3504d ago (Edited 3504d ago )

No. No, you are quite wrong. Tons of comic fans disagree with you. There is a reason Sony selected this comic for development and it involves knowing more than you can imagine. But then again yours is a troll comment. Your usual remark when you enter a Sony thread.

OpieWinston3504d ago

This has nothing to do with Sony... This has to do with how the comic live action series market is becoming over saturated by DC alone.

Powers won't even be a bleep on the map, especially with the money Warner Bros is putting into their DC series.

Arrow(CW)
The Flash(CW)
Gotham (FOX)
Constantine(NBC)
IZombie (CW)
Preacher (AMC)
Hourman (CW)
Titans (TNT)
Lucifer (FOX)
Booster Gold (Syfy)
Supergirl (CBS)

Have you read Powers? Because Tons of comic fans? It's fanbase is miniscule and it's comics aren't that good.

"Involves knowing more than you can imagine"
I have a feeling you don't read a lot of comics or watch a lot of TV shows and probably don't understand what it takes to make a good one. For starters Powers has a weak premise.
The Comics plot was really bad and I'll just continue enjoying what I've got to watch now and what's coming up in the future.

morganfell3504d ago (Edited 3504d ago )

Yes I have read powers. Have you? Apparently not.

You also, erringly I might add, act as if the existence of other superhero related shows somehow negates the value of this one. I have read comics for quite a long time mr constantly hating sony. Longer than you. Decades longer than you. It's good that you have all of the collectives sales figures for comics and know exact fanbase sizes...except you don't. Like everything else you discuss you know nothing about such matters.

I am laughing at you...yes AT YOU. Some of the shows you list are a laugh. Booster Gold has only had a script ordered. It hasn't been greenlit at all.

Do you read the news?

Apparently not.

Constantine? Not a superhero. You just betrayed your ignorance in that you fail to see the difference between a graphic novel and a superhero comic.

IZombie? I give it one season. A zombie trying to blend in. Oh look a cute CW Zombie. Barf.

Preacher? They are not following the comic according to Seth Rogen so that is up in the air.

Several of the titles you mention will not even hit until late 2015 or 2016 at the earliest if they even go into production. Good luck with that.

There is one thing of which I can be sure. You will post in a Sony thread and it will be a negative, ill informed comment.

And by the way, disagrees? Kind of petty.

Didn't u see free with PS+? Lot of people are going to watch it because of that. And I think this show looks great and like the sound of the plot. Also like it's not on tv because it's definitely a R rated show. Especially I like the actor a lot who plays powers. Just that alone I'm watching it.

fei-hung3503d ago

Sorry, but I have to agree with Morganfell here. Although Constantine is a series that has a lot of comic book fans going crazy over (including me), we are also excited about Powers. It maybe lesser known to the mainstream audience, but not to those who are fans of graphic novels and comics.

Although you mention Gotham, people I know who follow comics are a bit disappointed. They would have preferred it to be set during the time of Batman, but following and telling the story through Commissioner Gordon.

As for the Plot being awful, that's just a troll comment.

I will be there, will be my third time going to nycc.

Already reserved the deluxe edition of the game, just waiting for it to be downloadable then unlocked.

Huey_My_D_Long227d ago

I like this game...but....ngl seeing alot news about costumes for promotional work is not exciting.

neomahi226d ago

....... How is it exclusive when the game is only on PS5? That's a rather liberal use of the word and really takes away from what it represents. Exclusive is just a word now, it used to actually mean something. Once timed-exclusive came about, it lost its pop

BlaqMagiq1226d ago

I think they mean as in never before seen anywhere Spider-Man related and will debut in the game.

CobraKai226d ago

Could be this. It’s the only explanation. Or the reveal itself is a Con exclusive?

Was there a comic-con suit in the last game? I could be wrong, but it was a cel-shaded (at least I think that’s the one) and it was one of my favorite suits to use.

I welcome all these suits! Hope there’s even more! I enjoyed switching out suits throughout the last game.
