Hi! James and Michelle here! We’re Ska Studios, the Seattle-based two person game studio responsible for The Dishwasher series, Charlie Murder and I MAED A GAM3 W1TH Z0MB1ES 1N IT!!!1. We’re super proud to introduce you to our newest project: Salt and Sanctuary. It’s a stylistic, brutal action RPG platformer that’s teeming with visceral, satisfying combat, deep, diverse character builds, and some of the most incredible bosses we’ve ever made.
Salt and Sanctuary casts you as a sailor shipwrecked on a strange, purgatorial island, insulated somehow against a backdrop of centuries-old worldwide perpetual war. What hope remains is isolated in Sanctuaries: protected dwellings where travelers band together under common creeds to take shelter from the hostile world outside
These are some of the greatest games similar to Blasphemous to play while waiting for the much-anticipated Blasphemous 2.
Humble Bundle has a new bundle packed with a bunch of Soulslike games. It has games like Mortal Shell, Salt and Sanctuary, and more. As always, a percentage of profits from the bundle go to charity.
Who knew that the unassuming 2008 title Demon’s Souls would wind up innovating an entirely new subgenre of games? Since FromSoftware released Demon’s Souls and the equally influential Dark Souls series, “Soulslike” games have attracted gamers looking for challenging gameplay, deep character building, and worlds steeped in lore. Here are 10 of the most underrated Soulslike games available now.
Looks cool. Makes me think of a side-scrolling Demon Souls.
Looks promising. I really enjoyed James Silvas Dishwasher games last gen. Never tried Charlie Murder, but I am sure its quality. What impresses me most is that Mr. Silva handdraws all his own art and performs the music/guiter at least he did in the Dishwasher, so he makes games that he wants to make. Really looking forward to this.
This looks sick.
