Chadley of Punch Nerds decides to counteract his recent "Most Disappointing Endings" article with his absolute favorite narrative ties in gaming history.
Rockstar Games may be preparing to release its open world action adventure game, Red Dead Redemption 1, on PC.
There aren't many games I'd double dip for, but having originally gotten this for PS3, I would happily get this if true.
The PlayStation 2 boasted an impressive collection of stealth games. Here are some of the best stealth games worth experiencing
Super Metroid was a monumental triumph of interactive art, a game that achieved new heights in presentation, level design, and pacing, and despite a few flaws, manages to hold up astoundingly well to this day.
The Bioshock Infinite story twist was so obvious.
nice to see mgs3
MGS3 had the perfect ending.
Devs these days have the tendency to put as much "mindfuck" as possible in their games. Now every game ends with "You suffered from amnesia and you were actually the bad guy all along and your whole world is a lie and you were just a pawn and your choices were an illusion and blah blah blah....". It's starting to get a little repetitive and predictable tbh...
MGS3's ending was simple but it had depth. It actually created a strong connection between the player and the characters, while simultaneously improving the storyline of the Metal Gear franchise as a whole. Think about it... what seemed to be just a stereotypical one-dimensional bad guy with an eyepatch in the original MSX game actually became one of the greatest and most well fleshed-out villains of all time. We can barely even call him a villain anymore. All this because of MGS3's ending
"Snake, history will never know what she did. No one will ever learn the truth. Her story, her debriefing... will endure only in your heart. Everything she did, she did for her country. She sacrificed her life and her honor for her native land. She was a real hero. She was a true patriot."
I really liked the story of Ico especially the ending. I really like watermelon
; )
Ni Nu Kuni also awesome.
