GameFly and RedBox loved the "Xbox 180" used-game policy reversal. Now we hear that Xbox One games from GameFly should be available at the system’s launch.

Gamefly and Xbox One don't Mix.

zeal0us3929d ago

How so? I could see if Microsoft kept their DRM and used game policy. Given that is no longer the case I'm pretty sure Gamefly and X1 can mix.

Convas3929d ago

Excuse me sir, you might want to change your calendar from May to September and perhaps do some reading on the interwebs to figure out why everyone is referring to the XB1 as the "Xbox 180"!

badboy776 probably wanted some quick agrees, maybe a +bub for you and chose to throw an insignificant insult out there...hope it sticks.

YNWA963929d ago

It is N4G.... Seen many people get lots of disagrees and bubble increases.... Not naming anyone called Maria either.....

Looks like somebody has been asleep for a few months. Did the troll fall asleep under the bridge again?

I know MS cringes at this, everytime someone mentions it.

People still use gamefly? I didn't think anyone would be stupid enough to use it since they have tons of hidden charges and sometimes double charge you. Seen so many people get money stolen for no reason and their customer service is dreadful.

YodaCracker3929d ago

I have used GameFly for over four years and I have never been "double-charged" or faced any hidden fees. I don't know how I would support my gaming habits without it. I can play every new release without having to plunk down $60 every time. It would take 3 months of the 2-game plan to equal the price of one brand new retail game. GameFly saves me hundreds of dollars!

Summons753929d ago

well you could learn to shop better to save hundreds. I buy my list of new games every year (probably 25-30, not counting spontaneous buys) and I never pay full price for them. Store sales are super easy to manipulate and a lot of stores have day 1 sales for games. Don't know how you managed to get by gamefly without being overcharged but good for you. Every time I see someone get gamefly their games always come in the main scratched to oblivion, they report it because they can't play it, then they get charged for the damaged.

Personally aside from wanting to own my games, I wouldn't put a used game anywhere near my system that looks grimy or like someone played frisbee with it.

I remember when Microsoft announced DRM. GameFly stock shot down 18 percent.
