It's still called Warface. And it's still free-to-play. But Crytek's shooter will be appearing on a brand new platform early next year: Xbox 360.
Co-produced by Crytek Seoul in South Korea, Warface features co-op missions as well as your regular class-based PvP play. Today's announcement continues Microsoft's push for free-to-play on the aging Xbox 360 platform, with World of Tanks also available as a free-to-play game on Microsoft's console.
MY.GAMES new Warface: Clutch 'Secret Lab' season has arrived, takes the action to North Africa whilst adding a new map, weapons and more.
MP1st talks to Crytek about Hunt: Showdown's success, future title updates, inspiration behind weapons and more.
Crytek gives an update on their new Crysis game, confirming that it's still in development, with more to share down the road.
That's awesome. So how long till the studio closes and everyone gets fired?
They mean free to play after buying xbl subscription !
I wonder if they got round the pay wall thing then. I remember them saying they wanted to do this but didn't want to be stuck behind a pay wall (or am I thinking of someone else?)
edit: my mistake that was wargaming's CEO
Good the One is getting more F2P games. These will be handy for day one users
Despite these F2P games being mostly always plain terrible and unfair, that Happy Wars game had a good and really fair progression. Even being an average player with only free content available, I managed to get MVP prizes quite regularly.
Where is the mech in that game?
Played it on PC, was ok. only one map i tried.
But there is not a lack of shooters.
