2015????? I was hoping 2014 the latest

Then again, I dont really believe much I read when it comes to gaming news, there is still a chance that I might be right

Edit: Looking at the list for the supposed "Dream Line-up for PS4" http://www.gamepur.com/news... it lists Batman Arkham 3 (which isnt even called that) Demons Souls 2, Legacy Of Kane, Mirrors Edge 2, Star Wars 1313 (which was cancelled)

Its juts a made up fantasy list

The best thing about it being out in 2015, Is more polish something fallout New vegas Needed

AedanClarke4001d ago

Blame Bethesda for New Vegas' lack of polish. Anyone else notice how Bethesda takes forever to release a buggy, mediocre game, but Obsidian takes relatively small amounts of time and creates good, if understandably buggy, games?

Just saying. Fallout 4 would likely have been done by now if Obsidian had been developing it. I don't know how they do it, but they develop faster than any other developer I've ever seen.

So yeah.

@Hellsvacancy
Well, 1313 still has a chance of being finished, at least.

LAWSON724001d ago (Edited 4001d ago )

Obsidian used alot of the resources that Betheseda had already used on 3. Betheseda are the ones who updated the engine used on Oblivion and recreated the fallout world in a new way. All this is not done overnight. People need to realize Bethesda makes huge worlds that would require loads of testers to test everything or a lot of time.

Plagasx4001d ago

More time doesn't necessarily mean a better game...

Crazay4001d ago

Pffft...

Articles like this usually mean little to nothing. They just arbitrarily post these products to their site to a) drive traffic to them and b) just to have as a place holder. I wouldn't take this as real news. We all know it's going to happen before this bit came out.

Psychotica4001d ago

So? I could put up a website in a few minutes that says it's coming out tomorrow, what does that prove? When Bethesda's website gives the date then I will believe it..

Still playing fallout 3 and new vegas, this is yhe games I love most of all games out there,so im hoping F4 comes to pc next year,I finished fallout new vegas 6 times!(praying for F4 LOL)

KyriakosShinedown4001d ago

Don't be suprised if it came 2015 I mean Bethesda Game Studios releases a game (Elder Scrolls or Fallout) every 3 years. At 2003 Elder Scrolls III Morrowmind, at 2006 Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion, at 2008 Fallout 3 and at 2011 Elder Scrolls V Skyrim so why not take 4 years to develope it and make it even bigger?I know it's a long way till 2015 but I'm sure Bethesda will make oneother masterpiece, and if I remember correct early 2013 I think bethesda game studios developers were visiting Boston and taking pictures so don't be suprised......

How nice of them to give us more control over graphical settings as a way to *completely* avoid taking accountability for the broken Xbox settings.

bondsmx3d ago

Well, I still crashed like 5 times last night within two hours. So there’s that.

I had to stop. The game is not good. I'd rather play Skyrim and that game isn't that good either.

I Think It's About Time We Realize Fallout 4 Wasn't That Bad

Ahmed from eXputer: "2015's Fallout 4 received harsh criticism upon launching, but I think it was unwarranted and the game deserves more praise than it got."

helicoptergirl9d ago

It was totally that bad. I couldn't finish the campaign it was so bland and boring as I recall. Got so sick of it. 1000 stimpaks on hard. It is very rare that I play half a game and then just quit. I usually always finish it. But i was so bored with this game I just stopped and never went back and never regretted it. Just thinking about that game makes me shudder

Furesis9d ago

That's exactly what happened to me too lmao
Fallout 4 is not a fallout game period it's a bethesda game

Vits9d ago

The comparison with Skyrim is mind-boggling. Yes, Skyrim has streamlined many of the systems that Morrowind introduced. However, it did not tamper with the core of the Elder Scrolls franchise; it did not diminish the freedom and sense of exploration that made Bethesda RPGs famous. Fallout 4, on the other hand, did exactly that to the Fallout series. It eliminated what made Fallout such a beloved series to play. There are no consequences for your choices, no reason to explore, and barely any interesting set pieces in the game.

It's not terrible, but it's a painfully mediocre game in a franchise that typically doesn't produce such mediocrity. So that is why people see it as bad, the bar is just much higher.

anast8d ago

They both feel the same because they are, it's just that one has swords and magic and the other has swords and guns.

anast8d ago

I'm replaying it now. It sucks. I'm about 30 hours in and thinking about quitting again. I am so tired of the dialogue I just spam a random button because it doesn't matter. The upgrade just feels like a graphical mod, everything else is not good.

Good-Smurf8d ago (Edited 8d ago )

I couldn't play the game as-is it was insanely boring and grindy and the grind itself are not fun at all.
Mods helped me stomach the game a bit better but after a while I just stopped playing and uninstalled it because the game did nothing after the first few hours to give me any motivation to keep playing it, it just became a mindless looter shooter with obsession in settlement building and defending.
Compared to F3 and FNV, F4 was barely a mediocre game it wasn't bad but it's also very forgettable entry.

MrDead8d ago

It's not that bad after 300+ mods that fix it's issues and make the game fun... but lets not talk about mods right now as they are f****d.
