Paramount Home Entertainment quietly came onboard via a statement sent exclusively to The Hollywood Reporter on Wednesday: "We are pleased that the industry is moving to a single high-definition format, as we believe it is in the best interest of the consumer," the statement reads. "As we look to (begin) releasing our titles on Blu-ray, we will monitor consumer adoption and determine our release plans accordingly."

When the PS5 and the Xbox Series X/S first launched all the way back in 2020, console sales were not what either platform manufacturer wanted them to be. The pandemic slowed things down more than ever before, even though in the case of each next-gen console, all the units that were manufactured, sold.

Full circle has come... Sony has once again proven to the world when you're the best, you're the best. You might have bad days... off times... but you'll never completely lose what made you the best.
Sony has constantly been the front runner in this industry and will always be. Without Sony video-games and media as a whole wouldn't be as invested into our society.
