It is perhaps one of the greatest cult classics ever released on the Sega Genesis, and one of the most heralded titles that never spawned a successful spinoff or even franchise continuation. We’re talking about ToeJam & Earl, and it looks like it will be re-released for the first time ever on the PS3, as a downloadable promotion along with other vintage Sega games.
In the 16-bit era, game devs and composers could finally change the type of tones used in the music, simulating a wider array of instruments and creating a whole lot of great soundtracks in the process.
It wasn’t easy picking out the best of the best because there were so many great ones. Even middle-of-the-road soundtracks seemed to deserve a bump if the game was just that damn good, and so many from that era are that damn good!

Great news. My girlfriend preffers to play older games and I will have the chance to show her one of the greatest games from the 90s.
Oh man, to be 9 yrs. old again and play this with my friends. We'd always give up half way through the game and play with all the gizmos you found. This game was truly innovative at the time and super hilarious, it was hours and hours of fun.
Perhaps I'll pick it up again, not sure if the game mechanics still live up to my nostalgic memories.
Fuck Yes!!! HD Remake would be soooo badass w/ online co-op, but I'll take all the T&E i can get!!

LOL i loved this game so much.. I have to have it on my ps3 w online co op.. PT2 wasnt as fun to me but i got a ton of laughs with em both.. LEVEL 0 was always great getting to
