Third-party Wii U developers have made it clear that Nintendo has been fielding feedback on the console. Better than this, though, is that the Big N actually seemed to listen.
Game developers have already started to confirm that they will support the Nintendo Switch 2 with their future titles.
Hanzala from eXputer: "As Nintendo takes out 20 years' worth of stuff from Garry's Mod, I watch in shock, thinking why it continues to hurt and discourage its fans."
The irony that some of the most disgusting business practices come from companies like Disney or Nintendo, i can't even begin to understand what terrible damage was Garrys Mod making to Nintendo bottom line, imho they're getting pretty nervous about where they're heading in the future, handhelds are no longer something exclusive to Nintendo, from Steam Deck to many others, now you can play the latest games and pay a fraction of the price on Steam sales, so it's up to their exclusives, which just on their own would make hard to justify purchasing a closed overpriced hardware with outrageous price policies (Super Mario Odyssey is still 60 euro 6 years later!), and as a home console they're always underperforming compared to Sony or Xbox.
Look at how they handled Nintendo games being streamed or uploaded on YouTube in the past. They killed Yuzu and Citra even when they had nothing to do with ToTK being leaked, not to mention it was basically unplayable on emulation the week it was leaked. Smash Bros tournament, that was fairly recent. They shut down their online services without any care for purchases made. I bought a switch after skipping their last 2 consoles and handhelds but I don't plan on buying anything Nintendo in the future. They take things to the extremes, they legitimately hate their fans. They're honestly right up there with the likes of Acti, EA, and Ubi, only difference is that they disguise themselves as being family friendly all the while being shady.
Hanzala from eXputer: "The cruel hammer of Nintendo has fallen. Farewell, 3DS and Wii U, you surely brightened my life and many others; you won't be forgotten."
This should make for some pretty cool info added to what we know about the WiiU already. And anytime the company that makes the hardware has the ear of the development community making suggestions and the companies it seems much better chance of making a better over all development product for the developer's. Sony's PSVita was i think a better development oriented product for 3rd party than any other playstation product before it aside from maybe the 1st playstation.
The WiiU seems to be going the same way with 3rd party developer's imput. I think it seems to be heading toward a great platform for 3rd parties. since they over at Nintendo are getting imput by them that can only mean good thing's.
Oh look at that Gearbox AGAIN
How am I not surprized
If they were realy listening that I expect a normal gamecube style controler to be included and all games will support this control scheme
Well people bashed Nintendo a bit for telling us about the Wii U almost two years before its launch, I am starting to think they were just collecting feedback so that they could put out the best possible product that people will enjoy.

That's pretty much how i see it, also all three companies are doing just that now and i think pretty much they have no choice. The convergence of network connected devices anymore are directly tied to game consoles now that they need the direct imput from the 3rd party developer's, and publisher's to make sure there not missing something that the developer's may need to reach more than just your only platform. You cannot expect 3rd party developer and publisher's to make exclusive games anymore with out some real incentive.
And making sure your product can match up with what the developer's will need will make sure at least you have a chance to get the game without having to worry about your system not being able to get the game because of a real stumbling block over a function that may be standard on other platforms.
3rd party developer's and publisher's know that your company cannot buy exclusive right's or Exclusive Use of every such ip that comes across their desk, but atleast they can make sure your system could get their game so the 3rd party publisher or developer can at least get more revenue that way.
I hope to buddha that the final controller has analogue sticks and triggers. It would probably end up being my favourite controller ever.
