1st thing I think of when the release a new Call of Duty is who is it made by. Now clearly its going to be made by activision but who have they teamed up with this time to make a new Call of Duty game. When I found out it was treyarch i was pleased. the reason for this was that they also help with the first 3 Call of Duty's so I new they could make good World War games.
The story mode has a very good story no matter what country you find youself fighting for it is always action-packed and exiting to play. They have also added a few extra with World at War and that is Death-cards and nazi zombies. With the Death-cards you can collect them in the story mode and they are almost like perks in the multiplayer but there not all good. infact about 70% of them are bad and make the game alot harder but there fun to mess around with your mate in the game. The nazi zombie bounus they added is a seperate game that you can play with 3 other friends, 4 in total. basically you have to fight of these nazi zombies and the more you kill the more that spawn. It is alot of fun to play with your friends and can only be unlocked when the single player is complete.
The Multiplayer has pretty much the same feel as Call of Duty 4 but with all new maps, weapens, gametypes and players. They still have all the same gametypes as before but this time the have Free for all as a hardcore gametype and a new gametype called war. Tats all I can say about the multiplayer.
Overall I give this game a 9.5/10.
Huzaifa from eXputer: "2008 was home to the likes of Call of Duty: World at War, Dead Space, GTA 4, Far Cry 2, Left 4 Dead, and many other hits, which is outright remarkable."
Just about every year in the 7th generation was great and something we most likely won't experience again.
2009 for example had Assassin's Creed 2, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Dragon Age: Origins, Uncharted 2, Halo 3: ODST, Killzone 2, Borderlands, Bayonetta, and Demon's Souls to name a few.
A very devoted fan of Call of Duty: World at War racks up incredible in-game stats while playing regularly for the past 15 years.
Of course you will hit a ridiculous stat after 15 of anything.
My main character for Everquest had over 500 days played in the first 6 years of the game. I was young then and had a lot of time on my hands. I don’t think I could duplicate that again until I retire and not sure I could match it if I tried.
Gamespot : Call of Duty: Vanguard launches with 20 multiplayer maps, three of which are actually remakes from 2008's Call of Duty: World at War. Let's take a look at how the maps have changed with this side-by-side comparison.
now go play killzone 2, call of duty 4, halo 3 or resistance 2..
cod5 is crap in comparison
