According to a forum post over at GameFaqs.com, the latest issue of PSM has an interview with Sucker Punch and they talk about their future plans with Sony.
Look for Sly 4's unleashing at E-3 and a new Sly Cooper Psp game aswell. They're both set for release the same day and will have connectivity to one another.
"The graphics have been majorly overhauled and the gameplay will be more varied and focused this time around. We're aiming for a fully interactive 3-d world, with no loads and seamless interaction between settings and characters."
"2013 was a pretty freaking huge year in gaming. We saw the release of many large, multi-year games that blew us out of the water, such as The Last of Us, Bioshock Infinite, Tomb Raider, and GTA V as well as many innovations in the indie scene, such as Gone Home and Papers, Please. Here are my picks for the most awesome things of the year in the video gaming realm, as well as the worst news of the industry." - Jake Petersen of Geekenstein
Yami from Twinfinite writes: "I wish I had all the time in the world for the multitude of video series ideas I have. My beloved VGAD series has suffered and it’s heart breaking. I found this old gem of advertising ideas for Sly Cooper 4, Assassin’s Creed III, Ni No Kuni, and MGR: Revengeance. I really hope I can make this a recurring thing because it’s pretty damn fun sharing with you ad ideas. I love advertising (obviously) and whatever will help people see that it’s really not so terrible works for me!"
TGH Writes: "How do you go about bringing a stagnant franchie back to life? This was the task levelled at Sanzaru Games – a developer who’s catalogue is little more than ports and tweaks of other studios titles bar the mediocre Ninja Reflex (their first title). However, for their second original title they enter into the world created by Sucker Punch by creating the sequel Sly Cooper fans have been waiting for. Luckily they didn’t stroll in blindly to make their mark upon the franchise as they previously revamped the PlayStation 2 series in a wonderful HD collection. It certainly shows though as Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time only shows splashes of something new."
this game is amazing, so fun so beautifully made.
every PS3/vita owner should buy it and on top of that it's cheap
The original was great on the PS2. Wondering what kind of look it'll have on the PS3 considering it had a very distinct-cartoony look on the PS2.
Platform games are cool ...
Yay
never played this but nice to see more games for play station
I've been waiting to hear something out of Sucker Punch for a while now.
The next thing I think that might come out of this is that Sucker Punch might just get picked up by Sony. Naughty Dog and Insomniac had a great friend ship with those guys in the past. So I could see Sony wanting SP to become first party.
I think this is great to see Sly on the PSP. I for some time thought the PSP would be a great system for Sly.
