Meh.... the FPS games are getting kind of boring. Nothing really interests me in the genre anymore. There is only one FPS im very excited for and that is Bioshock Infinite....

I might by the new COD(probably that Iron wolf thing they talk about)....

If and only if it has zombies... thats the only selling point as to why I would ever buy a COD game

Resistance 3 was my fav. Shame it didn't get nominated. But at least somebody gave Killzone 3 some respect. Seems like everyone forgot about that game.

Resistance 3 I instantly quit playing after the corn fields near the VERY beginning... I just couldn't get into it. I actually had to force myself to get over 1/2 way through 2 as well. Resistance 1 was the only game to keep me glued in the franchise...

Killzone 3 was forgotten about pretty quickly as well. I definatley liked 2 way more. In 3 if I remember right, I quit playing after the jungles. I just couldn't stay interested in it either...

To someone they might have been good games, But personally I feel outside of visuals... damn near all the FPS's this year have been forgetable!

Resistance 1 was my favorite as well but they're all good in their own rights. The whole "WW2 with aliens" theme was cool and I always wished they'd gone back to that theme.

As far as Killzone goes, 3 had a better campaign than 2 but the messed up the multiplayer a little.

Well personally I was bored with Killzone 3 after about 2 months. Guerrilla Games doesn't support their games very well. Once they release a game, you'll see 2 - 4 new maps released, then they move onto something new. They also didn't really have that much content in the game to begin with.

I thought Resistance 3 was awesome while I was playing the campaign, but I was super disappointed with the multiplayer. Resistance: FoM had a great single player campaign and average multiplayer, Resistance 2 had a mediocre single player campaign but it had an awesome multiplayer suite with 8 player co-op and 60 player matches along with great level design, the Resistance 3 gets a great single player campaign, but they completely nerfed the multiplayer. My opinion is that if a company can't get their game straight after 3 attempts, then I'm done with that series. The same goes for Killzone.

Killzone 3 is a extremly dissapointed game IMHO
compared to Killzone 2, GG fixed some issues, but they messed up much more

I saw the reputable nominees...

My first reaction to the winner was a super over-dramatic laugh that was actually genuine, the victor of this contest is laughable. How can GT be serious? How is this selection justified? Please someone enlighten me.

The series is still good, lots of people play it, it's multiplayer is addicting (though not quite to the level of BF3,) and It's Single player was a lot of fun (Unlike BF3).

....But also because Activision has really deep pockets.

Typical main stream game "journalism", just reporting hype and not quality. Rage? Call of Battlefield 13? WTF is Resistance 3, the best FPS is many years? Lame.
