STOP BUYING INTO THE SAME SHIT.
Every year they pump out some bullshit about how the games different, when its the same fucking game, with like 4 new guns and different killstreaks.

Buying this, would be like getting your dog and cellotaping it too a cat, and saying you created a new breed of catdog.

ilikestuff4624d ago

Eh I wouldn't say good, better then battlefield though. That beta put a bad taste I'm my mouth. So i gotta go with mw3 I wanna see how the story ends anyway

3GenGames4624d ago (Edited 4624d ago )

Lolwut? Even the beta with nurfed sound and textures and glitches is 3x the visual capacity of MW2, don't be stupid. And story has been leaked for months, go read it like the rest of us and save $120.

Well said +bubs. It people like him who lower the maturity of this site. A lot enjoy this game. Just because you (IAmLee/what ever his real account name is) do not like MW3 doesn't mean everyone must follow you.

SantistaUSA4624d ago

I like to play COD, the only one that pissed me off is COD:BO, it was so buggy at first. I have all the COD, 1 n 2 on PC, 3 n 4 on x360 and the rest on PS3. People complain about milking the franchise, I don't care as long I'm having fun.

AAWELLS094624d ago

Give it a rest already. The "I hate MW campaign" is old and tired. Noone wants/needs your advice. We can make are own decision.

brodychet4624d ago

This game's going to be great. To those saying it's the same. It's not. The graphic's engine is, but the game itself has changed in a lot of ways. It has also kept a great deal of material from it's predecessor. This is a sequel of Modern Warfare 2. I don't know what you people want, an entirely different game? With nothing to chain the MW franchise together? Mw2 was great to me. ..Damn people really love, to hate Modern Warfare.

IAmLee4624d ago

personally, i think it looks shite, but its opinion based, i am not a fanboy, i think battlefield is shit as well. but if your going to buy the game that is your choice.

brodychet4624d ago

You're just the type of person who can't see the positive in anything. So you say everything's 'Shit'. You must be a miserable kid.

princejb1344624d ago

modern warfare is a great series
who cares if they engine wasnt upgraded its a great engine that looks great
it looks much better than crap ops and am going to enjoy mw3 as well as bf3

i agree with brodychet those who come to other articles to flame bait are miserable kids cause they have nothing better to do right now

IAmLee4624d ago

@Brodychet.

nono, just because I don't like FPS's doesn't mean I can't see postive. Just means I can see outside the box.
Don't really know how you concluded I was a 'kid'..

DarkTower8054624d ago

@ iamlee, you may be of adult age, but you're still very immature. There's no arguing that.

Ooh, an entirely new game would be nice. I'd like something that utilities a joystick but has the budget of MW3. My poor sidewinder has been gathering dust since the 90s.

On a serious note however, I think most people who say "it's the same" are referring to the shooter market in general. FPS/TPS games have flooded the market this gen and there really isn't a big differentiation between them.

RedHotChiliPepaSpray4624d ago

About 3 or 4 months ago on n4g if you praised mw3 you would get an infinite amount of disagrees but now, after the battlefield 3 beta, everythings somehow reversed...

People really need to stop following the crowd.

3GenGames4624d ago

And when the game comes out and is fixed and near perfect the bandwagons will be out again and everyone will be riding it. The beta is an alpha that's over 2 months old, anyway. 99% of the bugs with all the major ones are fixed right at this moment.

Oh well, at least they'll know what's better in the end.

Kamikaze84624d ago

I love how N4G works. I submitted this 2 hours before these guys, 0 approvals.

Morons that allow themselves to be milked continuously by this company is the definition of irony.
Spend more $$ and you'll end up In easier lobbies so you win both ways when ya spend that cash

Controversy in the COD community feels like it happens within an alternate timeline. Activision will take the piss with something, there will be a momentary fuss about it, and then they will forget about it and carry on anyway. Repeat this cycle literally every year for the rest of time.

They call that a crack head! Thats what this is really about, its an addiction. People who dont smoke cigarettes look and laugh at the addicts that spend $8-$10 a pack, but they cant help themselves, they are addicted. That same analogy applies perfectly to the whole MT industry. Only an addict that was not thinking clearly would spend this kind of money on something so frivolous. A round of multiplayer provides the same high a person gets from scratching a lotto ticket, or putting money on a sports bet. MT in general need to really be regulated because you have a generation of kids becoming adults who grew up only knowing the MT era of gaming. Its normal to them and they will in turn teach their kids the same by just being a gaming parent and getting their kids involved with them in gaming. Thats why no matter how ridiculous the headlines keep getting out of the MT industry, it never seems to fade or go away.

I'm so tired of hearing about what they're doing with this game, its never going to change and it's never going to value the consumer over money, furthermore the people who engage so heavily in the microtransactions I guess allegedly are having a blast and can't wait to do it some more this year when the new version of the game drops.
