It's like this... Maps that don't make it into earlier games because of balance or what not got revamped again and again until they're worthy to release on the next edition. The map you're watching now was more than likely made for MW1, but before releasing they decided to include multiple choke point, a couple broken down HumVees, and the Epcot Center globe from Disney World for flavor.

If anything this gen has created a culture of gamers that hate having fun anymore. They are a bunch of video game snobs.

They say gameplay is everything and graphics don't make the game. Then they rag on a games graphics. They rag on COD for being too arcady and non realistic, then defend 2 shot sniper kills in BF3.

I agree with jeseth on this one. As much as I've ragged on Call of Duty for its continual baby steps and lack of innovation in the past, this argument could go both ways. DICE would like to minimize the amount of BF instalments, but I imagine EA can really do whatever they want with that or MoH. I hope they don't force them out though.

At some point, Call of Duty will have to step it up. Now that it has viable competition it will need to adapt, and that's the beauty of competition. Activision isn't stupid. If you have the goto online franchise and number one selling entertainment item of all time, you don't take a year off for the competition to get a foot in. I think they've now learned they have to evolve though. I expect them to pour a massive amount of cash into stepping up the technology over the next couple instalments. Although, if they're lazy they might just wait until next gen.

Actually, I don't really play BF games. I'm a cod player but after seeing all these multiplayer videos.. it feels like im watching MW2. Infinity ward just disappointed us. I know a lot of cod fans who dislike MW3 now. Don't assume all these dislikes are from BF players.

I will get uncharted 3 and assassin's creed revelations instead of this game.

Exactly. These haven't changed:

* The sounds- the same! GUNS- the same. Announcer- the same, the capture point noises, the same! The grenades- the same!

* The HUD- the SAME! The same capture point markers, the same EXACT FONT and same design for grenades/flash/smoke nades, same font and design for the ammo, timer etc

* Even the killcam borders are the same.

* The visuals- THEY HAVE NOT CHANGED!!

EVERYTHING IS THE SAME!! This must have been so easy to program for. Add new maps, weapons and perks and streaks. That's it.

This could ALL have been done in an expansion. ALL OF IT.

Why do BF3 lovers click on every modern warfare topic and bash the game? If u guys want to promote BF,you should do it with positive promotion. Show MW players the difference between BF 3 and MW3,so they could experience a new kind of fps game.
