Infinity Ward has released a new trailer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and it features the game’s spec ops co-op and introduces an all-new survival mode.

There are just slight improvements, that is what he meant, It really is nothing noticeable, only few polishes and some game-play elements and modes, features. I just watched MW1 trailer and gameplay and it really is the same shit with less effects than MW3 or Black Ops. It just really feels like the same game, look at the improvements for Battlefield series, i am no "fan-boy", but you really have to face the truth that Battlefield is closer to the real shit and has amazing visual and sound effects. CoD is so popular because it is made to look pretty bad-ass, and like an addicting arcade game. But it really feels like and old game. After playing BF3 MW3 wouldn't feel the same.
I have played BF:BC2, because of destruction i wanted to try and later MW2, and it was cool, but it really depends what kind of person you are, i didn't like it, it had too much action, it was just madness sometimes. And it was hard for me to play because there were many CoD pro-fans, and experienced players, but i still managed to get first on score-board on many rounds.
Definitely gonna buy BF3. On MW3 you will have to pay for online??? If yes i wont buy, if no then maybe.

I got all Call of Duty released on this Gen console ... this look exactly the same as MW2 ... there was a noticable improvement from MW1 to MW2 but MW3 is lookin exactly the same.

The wow factor which MW2 had and made me buy it on launch day ... MW3 lacks completely. It looks like new map pack and modes for MW2.

Im sorry there is nothin new in this game. This MW2 + New Map Packs. and I refuse to pay $$$ for it.

Trailer is decent I believe. Not a everyday CoD player. Looks decent this mode does, but likely predictable watching folks jump out of a helicopter. Decent either way maybe. I feel like trailer was chopped up and pieced together with certain parts, but its okay. High action is what people want. If the game can't deliver then it will suck. I personally plan on playing CoD and Battlefield 3 later this year. I am picking up old CoD though and buying this one later. I am a bargain gamer. :P

Well, Survival Spec Ops wasn't but there were some levels where you would have waves of enemies coming at you but nothing like this were you have helicopters, dogs with bombs strapped to them, strike teams, etc.

This will b the first cod I do not get day 1, because it is similar and its up against triple A video game juggernauts (lol). But, though I'm sure B3 will get 1-1.5 pts higher in reviews, it still may not outsell mw3. I say this because my friends list is still 60%+ ppl playing cod. And this looks to deliver just what they want...more of the same. Its hard for ppl to break habits; its uncomfortable. But, black ops was the peak of cod sales. It isn't just B3 that will chip away at the king. Its B3, AC revelations, Skyrim, Rage, Batman, U3, GoW3, R3, & on and on. This is the year of culminating trilogie & series, much anticipated masterpieces etc. I've read many wish lists for fall 2011 & mw3 is never on the list. It will sell well and may outsell everything else but the loot will b spread out this year, just as awards will b. And no, mw3 isn't gonna get any rewards...unless there's a best rehash.

Hmm maybe you’re ps3 is from an other planet... Or maybe you’re just using the neighbour’s router… Seriously wtf SpecOps was good in MW2 and it didn’t lag on my ps3 at all. But I won’t pay 60 bucks for new SpecOps. Uncharted 3, Dead Island, Halo 1 HD, Rage and DeusEx3 are on my priority list.

In fact I got fucked with Black Ops and Il admit CoD MP is fun, but after a month every one starts camping once they know the maps ( and its starting to get like this in all games that have MP, what’s with this K/D obsession anyway ) so I’m done with CoD… I never even touched the single player anyway. So Il keep my 60bucks for way more Innovative games (except Halo, but a classic is a classic and Nathan Drake is the new Indiana Jones XD )

Regarding graphics, what I saw looked crisp, sharp, and good. MW never tried to pass itself off as a real combat simulator. It is a good, quick arcade FPS and that's what people want to play sometimes.

Incidentally, I'm also getting BF3 so don't anyone try to pass my comment off as a COD fanboy rant. The truth is that they are two DIFFERENT styles of gameplay and you can have fun with both.

I love how people are calling this MW2.5. They way you obtain your killstreaks and the way the weapons/currency system seems to be in a cool and interesting improvement. Feeling out the new weapons is always nice and the calling in Juggernauts and bomb strapped dogs will allow a new tactical version of gameplay. To be honest I think the engine has always been really balanced, it's the scripted scenes I don't like, but online I think it wroks really well, but the Battlefield engine has always looked better in my opinion, BF is more tactical also, MW is more run and gun.

No, the point is I actually go to the range and shoot guns. example: there still using a colt m4 carbine instead of the new HK 416 which has a new upper receiver system. So No not alien guns you ass. new up to date Millitary guns ie they are using in the game the proto TDI vector when there is a new complete model called the TDI Super V. next time think before you post fanboy. If they are going to rehash with the same engine least put some effort into the guns, example there is no need for a mod203 grenade launcher to go on a scar thats pointless when the scar has a custom made mk203 that swivels left to right for left or right handed fighters.

Oh and their Knights Armament MP5 which is in the game is just a mod to a old gun, the new HK MP7a1 is its replacement with a round desined to penetrate body armor.

Long story short, their guns are dated and not even correct in their clip counts. and this is coming from someone who played all the COD games. and is tired of the same crap.

I've seen it in other games so the concept isn't too far fetched to me. It does seem a little over overkill for a MW game though (so what, didn't the dogs kill people enough in BLOPS?) but I get the logic behind it.

Did anyone notice alot of that map looks nearly identical to one of the maps on the dlc for MW2?Are they still using the same graphics engine as the one over 2 years ago?I will be staying clear of this game, waste of 60euro!

Actually they've been using the same graphics engine since CoD 2 I believe. They've just been making minor tweeks to it for each game. It one of the reasons that they are able to pump these games out every year.

Seriously though, doesn't the MW series look good enough? Aren't there other things they can improve the game besides the engine?

I love how these kids moan "oh, it's an old engine!", "They said they re-wrote it but it looks the same" you guys have no idea what exactly goes into an engine and what it actually does, you just want the developers to build a new engine from scratch for every game they make :p

The menus look exactly like the MW1 menus. Its still more like MW2 though.

Funny enough...were you to pop in COD 4 now...you would just encounter nothing but spam messages taking over the screen. If they can't even take care of that, why should I bother with this?

As much as i thought this game would sell more of course then bf3... from everything I see now, I am certain that bf3 will do alot better, and be goty. Maybe not sell more but it will come very close
